Amazing staff, so friendly and accomodating. Very clean accomodation, food was amazing, bottled water and ice all safe to consume. Great little spot off the beaten track and only a short walk to the beach.

Had requested pickup from the harbor when booking the room which was acknowledged. That didn't happen. Was left waiting at harbor. Air conditioning didn't work great so it was a bit hot in the evening.

Wonderful staff. Extremely friendly and helpful. Very close to crystal bay but not right next to all the visiting beach tourists. This allowed me to relax and truly enjoy being there. The breakfast each morning was great. There's a pool at the property just a few feet away you can use if you buy drinks there. Also a restaurant right next to the property on the other side.

If you really want to relax and live on island time, this is the place to be. A tranquil spot at the end of the road with the (not too noisy) sound of roosters to remind you that you are staying next to a traditional village. Feel like coconut water, well they’ll cut one fresh off a tree for you! Breakfast coffee is nice, dinner is family style cooking. Everyone is friendly and the business is family run. Apart from day trippers on Crystal Bay beach, the whole area is not overcrowded. Highlights are snorkelling off the beach with turtles south side of Crystal Bay beach, taking a short 40min hike on stone and concrete steps to the next less crowded beach (Pandan), and if you are an experienced hiker and snorkeller going further to the next beach (Puyung, another 40mins, slippery climbing with few steps but then also very few people on the beach and more coral than in Crystal Bay).

Island getaway: serene location, comfy lodging, tasty eats, friendly staff

The only minor inconvenience was the restaurant’s late lunch service starting at 2pm. However, we found this to be consistent with the other nearby dining options.

The property sits nestled in a serene corner of the island, strategically positioned just a short 10-minute stroll from NP’s premier snorkeling beach: crystal beach. We relished the cozy shack, plush bed, and fluffy pillows. The on-site restaurant tantalized our taste buds with delicious fare, boasting a wide array of options at wallet-friendly prices. The staff exuded warmth, always ready to assist with a smile.

The property itself is very large, the alley of little cottages is really pretty and clean. Each cottage has a lot of room, a nice patio, a very comfortable bed, a nice bathroom and shower. It's very close access to Crystal bay, which is fantastic for snorkeling. The food (breakfast or dinner) is made with care and delicious. Would definitely stay there again!

Great place near by crystal bay, had good condition and have nice food. You need to try their tuna its nice dish. Surrounding area is quiet and many green that good to bring a more relaxed experience.

Beautiful bungalows and gardens situated at the edge of a village. 10 minute walk to beach. Very pleasant friendly helpful family run this. Can't do enough for you. Took my partner to town so he could find an atm. Also sorted out our ferry back to mainland. Would definitely stay again.

Staff didn't always communicate clearly with each other - e.g. one member of staff agreed that we could check-out at noon while a different member of staff insisted we had to check out by 11. Just a small niggle though - overall the staff team were amazing and helped us organise transport, transfers, scooter rental, and cooked amazing food.

The Tinsi was immaculately clean and well maintained. Our cabin was spacious and tasteful - way better than expected as the photo's really don't do it justice. Great location a short walk from Crystal Bay which means you can go snorkelling first thing in the morning before the crowds arrive and return at sunset after the crowds have left. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast every morning (accommodated our vegan diet) and friendly attentive staff. We would stay here again if visiting Nusa Penida.

Pool could use a bit of shade. Able to use any of the other local hotel pools with restaurant attached when eating at their restaurants though so founf shady pools for sunniest part of day. Aircon not super cold possibly as rooms not very insulated. We had our own table fans we brought though so were cool enough.

Large attractive clean rooms. Rooms were tidied every day by staff. Breakfast was included. Staff very friendly and helpful. They helped us work out/reserve ferry tickets, transport from ferry to the tinsi and tours at reasonable cost. Nice garden setting nice and quiet. 6 minute walk to beach. Kids enjoyed all the animals nearby. Such as monkeys in trees, birds. Lots of nice chickens, cows and pigs.
