My husband and I stayed at Treetop Guesthouse for a few nights while diving around Iboih. Wiggy & Nona are lovely hosts and the bungalows are simple, but fabulous! The views from the rooms and the snorkeling right outside were highlights. The AC & wifi worked well and there is a restaurant a close walk away. Town/beach/dive shops are about a 10 min walk. Really good value. We wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely stay again!

I had amazing 11night stay at treetop! Don’t even know where to start- owners helped me with logistics, scooter rentals, recommendations for local restaurants and dive centres. You can socialise with owners as little or as much as you like, they are super friendly and fair to say I made friends whom I would love to see again on this beautiful island . As solo traveler felt safe, room was clean, facilities were as described. Worth mentioning that there was kitchen - comes handy for making breakfast as not many places are open early in morning. Also, great spot for snorkelling right down the stairs in front of bungalows! Seen lobsters, turtles, lots of life around:)

    ;-)

if you need a glittery toilet seat and golden taps, this won't be your place. If you expect everything really clean and functioning, maintained by a good craftsman which is your honest and helpful host with a cheerful blink in the eye, that's your choice to enjoy the quiet view onto the sea and the amazing sounds of all the animals living in the most impressive forests I've ever been to. Fridge, fresh water, dishes and cutlery there it is and a shower with hot water (you don't need here anyways). Yeah, take your time for many stairs and don't try to walk between the stones in the water, just sit on your bottom and slide in - it's easy. Whenever we'll make it back to this island it'll be the first address!

We loved the location, the sea view and simplicity of the bungalow. The balcony with chairs and hammock was a lovely space to relax over looking the sea, which happened to be a great snorkelling area. The owner, Wiggy, was very helpful.

The guesthouse is nestled in Pantai Iboih, around 45 mins from the port, but we loved staying here because there were not many noises. Only the waves, which was just perfect. It’s also close to the jetty that can take you to Rubiah Island and some diving centers (if you’re a diving enthusiast). Wiggy was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. Thank you!

We stayed in the guesthouse at tree top with a group of three. The facilities where perfect, we had a kitchen, 2 toilets and a room with AC. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Pulau Weh!! Wiggly was also very helpful and gave us some tips for things to do on the island.

No restaurant on the place, but the village is 10 min walk away. The path could be maintained. The entrance to the ocean is tricky (big stones) but the underwater is just beautiful, and there is a beach 15 min away, with a very good and nice coffee place.

Confortable large cottage, in the trees, appart from the village with good air con. Two kingfishers come regularly just near the balcony. There is a fridge and drinkable water. Perfect place to go snorkling or diving with a club 7 min away.

The steps down from reception are novel, even artistic in design, but not that safe for an older person with poor balance (inner ear issues). A banister would help.

So many things to like. Location is great, away from the crowded village of Iboih, so quieter and sleeping with the gentle sound of the ocean was wonderful. The view of the sea from the bungalow veranda was pretty and a short walk down steep steps took you to the rocky foreshore from where we snorkeled. A good variety of reef fish, especially in the mornings, plus big clams and starfish. The coral around Sabang generally is not good compare to other parts of Indonesia (Karimunjawa, Flores) and fish stock was reportedly depleted during Covid when tourism stopped for 2 years. The bungalow was great with French doors opening wide to the verandah. We had a fan one rather than AC. There were nice touches, like a water fountain with hot water option to make coffee, tea and cup noodles, even a tea towel for the cups and plates, and a hot water shower. Very clean and well maintained. Wiggy was a helpful host, keeping us informed via WhatsApp of any events, and his lad assistant Riki was fantastic. Just down the hill there is a great dive shop Scubaholik rents snorkeling gear and will orangise and equip dive trips for those qualified to dive, snorkel and dolphin chasing trips from 2 to 20 pax.

Quiet area with great snorkelling spot away from busy Iboih. Was blown away by the diverse marine life here. Lucky to have spotted turtle. Cozy room, slept so well with the gentle wave sound.

The owner Wiggy really makes the place. He was always reachable and helpful, plus he knows everyone and everything on the island! He told us the bungalows are old tsunami shelters which he rebuilt and renovated. He takes good care of them so they are still in good condition. Every bungalow provides with hot water, a set of cutlery and plates, drinking water and a fridge. You can easily bring food and enjoy it with a view. Best thing though was sleeping with the big balcony swing doors open to the beautiful sound of the ocean at our direct feet. :)

The photos on Booking made the place look a bit dark, in real life it was way better!

A very nice place on the waterfront. You can hear the sea while in the bungalow. Water and fridge available. Creative stairs to the bungalow. Wiggy is a good host. Oh, a very nice hammock with a view on the balcony!
