Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TurkeyThe A/C was too noisy to sleep: many things in the hostel were in good condition.
It was a nice co-working hostel if you want to concentrate on your work. There are lot of like minded people. The food and drink prices are reasonable for the quality and the co-working without extra charge. The staff was good.

AustraliaLong term stayers not being able to even bring snacks in. I understand the restaurant needs to make money but if you are staying for 1 month or longer it is nice to be able to have your own fruit/snacks.
Booked for 2 nights and ended up staying a month. Perfect vibe for working and long term digital nomads. Wouldn't usually consider a dorm however, they were spacious, private and very clean. Everyone in the room was extremely respectful, did not feel like a 'hostel' Working area is excellent, quiet and allows for productivity. Probably not suitable for travellers or people wanting a party place, but absolutely ideal for digital nomads. The receptionist all knew my name and made me feel like home.

GreeceThe only negative is that the towels looked a bit old and smelled damp - but they were clean. Also, the drain smelled a little bit. Possibly a room scent might help.
The staff was very helpful and friendly! Nice vibes at the hostel and the room was big. The bed was very comfortable. The food was also very good. There was hot water (early in the morning it takes some time for the hot water to come, maybe 4-5minutes).

SingaporeThe only issue I had was the ants in my rooms. Not sure where all of it came from but there were random ones creeping around the table. The shampoo and bath gel were also not the best - both didn’t really smell quite good.
Great energy and good vibes throughout the place. Pool looked really good and room was clean. Overall internet connectivity was also good - no issues especially since I had multiple work calls throughout the week

New ZealandWish I found this place earlier in my trip. Not only is it an excellent coworking space + café, but it makes for a very comfortable living space. The staff are lovely, the facilities are brilliantly designed and well maintained. Everything is cleaned regularly and the place attracts respectful clientele. You'll make plenty of meaningful connections with other patrons here, and that alone is invaluable. Can't wait to return.

New ZealandNot a social hostel, hard to know who is staying there and who is coming just to use the wifi, as a solo traveller it is good if you need to recharge but bad for meeting people.
Beautiful property, very relaxed, nice pool and facilities

NetherlandsThere is no communal kitchen and even for hot water for medicine they will charge you 5000IDR. It’s exploitative and not suitable for a long term stay. Makes you feel like a check rather than a guest. You’re not allowed to bring in any food or drinks so you rack up a bill quickly if you’re coworking at the hostel. Defeats the point really. People from outside would come into the coworking/cafe space to hang out, this was loud and distracting. The rooms do not have proper doors, rather loud sliding doors. You won’t have a great nights sleep here.
Enough coworking spots for everyone. Curtains are nice. The location is nice. Close to good restaurants and the beach. 10 min walk to La Brisa along the beach. Pretty easy to meet likeminded people here.

Hong KongThe room facilities could be improved - too little storage space on the bed, and the drawer underbed for luggage is hard to open. The little drawer near the bed is useless. Would also have been nice if the hostel provides locks to guest considering there's no safe for each bed. Also not enough space for guests to hang clothes. I also don't like how people lay their toiletries around in the bathroom which makes the counter look really messy. But the hotel public area upkeep is good.
This hostel is indeed amazing for digital nomads. I love the public area with plenty of tables where everyone is super focused at work and super quiet. I was also able to get really focused while staying here and got a lot of work done. The food here is tasty and not expensive. The hostel is not social, so if you want to make a lot of friends during your stay, this is not the right place. Would 100% recommend it for people who needs to work during their stay though!

United StatesYou're not allowed to bring in any outside food , even into the working/ lounge space, and their restaurant is a bit pricey. There's construction being done right in front of the hostel, but it's not a big issue. You don't have access to a remote for the AC to change the temperature, so if you get cold easily, ask for a blanket.
Very clean , great facilities. The beds were comfortable. Beautiful working space. 10 minute walk from the beach , but it's not a beach for tanning and lounging around.

United Statesthe location of the hostel isn't too close to anything amazing. the beach is about a 10-minute walk and to get to most good bars you might need to use some transport. the hostel is also more quiet and not as much for social types as most people are working on their computers during the day.
great breakfast and showers. the hostel has a pool for you to cool off and the whole lobby is tables and outlets for digital nomads who want to work in an open space. staff are really friendly and the beds are comfortable

IndonesiaThe sliding door of each room might disturb people (light sleeper), but I personally don't mind. there is a quilt cover but no (inside) quilt, might be better to give option. the street heading to the property was quite dark and the road was bumpy (like the alleyway from Jl pererenan to the property) just be careful when you reach there with motobike
I like the communal space of the property, it opens for public as a cafe and coworking but as a guest of their hotel we can freely use the space. It was newly built, so I like how clean it is. The toilet and shower area is also clean, there are plenty of them so no queue during the morning or at night. The curtains to the bed has magnetic end so it can be covered fully.
