Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BrazilThe bedroom door is noisy. The internet is just ok, not super fast. There are a LOT of mosquitoes at night in the common areas.
The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff is kind, the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean.

Irelandthe sliding doors into the bedrooms were quite noisy and with 6 or 8 beds in a room it was opened quite regularly. also open plan design downstairs meant the noise in the evenings travelled up to the rooms
the beds were comfortable and spacious with a good curtain. the food was really good and a nice pool area

CanadaThe downstairs co working area is very open and below the rooms, so sound travels quite a bit- my suggestion would be to add some soft material to the bottom of the chairs and tables legs, because the floor is concrete. So at 7am the staff move the tables and chairs to sweep, and all day the sound of scraping chairs happens. Something small but it would make a huge difference!
Really great spot for meeting like minded people, the drinks were good. The private room was very clean and a nice shower

United StatesAwesome location, big comfortable beds with blackout curtains, A/C is great, staff is extremely welcoming and they clean bathrooms and comon spaces all throughout the day so it is totally spotless. Great place to get a bunch of work done and then meet likeminded folks from all across the globe doing the same hustle. I planned to stay two or three nights and extended my trip. On my way back towards the airport I booked two more days because it's so convenient. A++.

AustriaIt's sometimes not easy to find a charging station nearby but that's like a super 1st world problem :D
The community is really nice here. Lot's of likeminded entepreneurs, solopreneurs or just wannapreneurs. Digital nomads feel right at home here ;) The food is also pretty good and they almost make it hard for you to leave this place

United KingdomA bit more distant to Canggu center but easily reachable with scooters. Some of restaurant options have quite small portions. Being open to external guests for coworking, it gets busy especially in late mornings and afternoon but I always found space to sit regardless.
Facilities are great, clean, walking distance to yoga studio, Pilates studio, beach, few restaurants and small supermarkets. They organize a few social activities and overall it’s very easy to meet new people. Free water refill. Swimming pool.

United StatesIf you're a digital nomad looking for the perfect blend of work, relaxation, and community, then Tribal Bali Coworking Hostel in Pererenan is your dream come true. This place isn't just a hostel; it's a full-on vibe experience. The coworking area is a game-changer. Forget stuffy office spaces. Here, you'll be cracking away at your laptop poolside, the sound of gentle waves and chill music creating a focus-friendly yet refreshing atmosphere. And when hunger strikes, you don't even need to leave your flow state. The co-working area seamlessly integrates with a restaurant serving up delicious food to keep you fueled throughout the workday. But functionality isn't sacrificed for aesthetics. Tribal Bali has got your back with comfy chairs, sturdy desks, and plentiful electrical outlets – all thoughtfully designed to maximize your productivity. Whether you're a dorm dweller or opt for a private room, comfort is key. The private rooms are a win-win with built-in electrical adapters (no more scrambling for converters!), bright lighting, and a modern, clean design. It's clear they put a lot of thought into creating a space that fosters both work and relaxation. The good vibes extend beyond the co-working area. They play chill music at just the right volume to keep the atmosphere positive, and there's ample scooter parking for those who like to explore Bali on two wheels. Plus, the entire building is surrounded by lush greenery, adding to the sense of peace and tranquility. Overall, Tribal Bali Coworking Hostel is more than just a place to stay and work – it's a community of like-minded remote workers and travelers. With its perfect blend of functionality, comfort, and good vibes, it's the ideal spot to work remotely while soaking up the magic of Bali.

GermanySometimes there would be mess in the bathrooms but I guess that comes down to every person using it. And you cannot bring in food or drinks from outside from 9am to 10pm. There might be power cuts and then there is no electricity or water which happened once while I was there but that is also common in Bali.. but it only happened once while I was at Tribal. Also, there is no AC so it gets quite warm during the day if you are working downstairs.
I love Tribal! It is just a perfect combination of a chilled hostel, where you can lounge by the pool or on some of the sofas or sunbeds, play chess, billiard, chat to people from all over the world and you always end up making friends! The beds are super comfortable and even though you share the room with 7 other people usually, I slept really well almost every night. There is always free water on the premises and the bathrooms and rooms and the whole common area is cleaned every day. There are also a lot of people coming from outside Tribal just to work and meet other people too.
