Tugu is amazing. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful with what ever you need. They have some of the best restaurants on the beautiful property.

The hotel has no Gym.

great location and a hotel coupled with modern facilities and traditional authentic culture. Restaurants and food exceptional. huge room with its own pool was fabulous. close to beach bars, sports bars .

Suggest you avoid staying on a Saturday night; local clubs nearby meant we needed to use the the hotel provided ear plugs.

Old world charm and very friendly and accommodating staff. Dinner at the on site IWA restaurant was amazing. Loved the outdoor shower

there was nothing to dislike. everything was amazing.

Staff were amazing and so friendly, service was surpreme. The breakfast was fantastic and the free afternoon with treats was a delight, either served in room or by the pool. Great location, very close to the beach and many restuarants. Was sad to leave and would happily stay again.

The hotel is like walking into an art museum, the gardens and pool beautiful and the garden villas amazing. The reservation desk staff are exceptional, I needed to change the booking and they made every effort to accommodate our changes. Highly recommend

First day, the hotel as we understood overbooked and they gave us another room which was not the same quality as we saw and booked by booking. However, the manager compensate this mistake with nice gestures and we left the hotel very happy at the end.

Hotel is very well located. In seconds, you can reach Canggu beach. Restaurants and foods are exceptional! Well preserved historical property. At the renovation, the hotel kept all the traditional values and mixed with comfort.

No gym, and I thought it would be on the beach. It is close but not directly on the beach. Opposite a busy nightclub (but noise in room was okay)

Not the hotel’s fault but there’s a loud music from the beach club during the night is quite bad, we could still hear it with the earplugs and basically you can’t sleep until 01:00am when the music finally stops. But if you like going out at night and don’t mind sleeping late then it’s fine. Other minor things were the bed mattress which wasn’t entirely balanced and was lower a bit on the right side of the bed creating some back pain the day after, and the bathtub’s plug which was difficult to remove (would be good to add a handle or a string to it to help pull it out) after finishing a bath. But none of these are enough to take off points as it was still a great stay overall!

Probably the most interesting hotel I’ve been to, in terms of its architecture, design and decor. The hotel staff were the most professional and nicest I’ve encounter in my several weeks travel in Bali and Indonesia. The room had almost everything you need (amazing bathtub!), and we could have easily stayed longer if we could. The traditional show each Thursday evening shouldn’t be missed. There are also Yoga classes, a tour around and Spa which we didn’t have the chance to try but looked good.

I liked everything

I loved everything about this hotel stay! The staff were amazing and friendly, the room was gorgeous and clean, the food was delicious! I'll always remember this stay. We were lucky enough to watch the Balinese dance for dinner here as well. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!
