Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

JapanThe staff seemed a bit flummoxed because I was an overnight guest. They understand that there will be such guests, but as we are not long-term renters or buyers, they are not sure how all of the rules apply. For example, I arrived in the early afternoon and was surprised to find out that they did not take credit cards--an oddity in Tangerang where they don't take cash at some shops. I told them I had yen but not enough rupiah to cover the stay, and they said they needed to talk to the agent. The agent said I could pay in yen, but I only had large bills, and I knew they had no change, so I walked over to the Supermal (next door) and exchanged some yen for rupiah at a money changing booth. It worked out anyway, but I was surprised. One more odd thing I should mention. My flight was at 21:30 at night out of Jakarta, so the day before my flight, I asked them to keep my luggage for me. This seemed to cause confusion, but it was finally agreed that the staff could store it somewhere after calling the agent; however, the next day, the girl at the front at first refused to store my luggage, saying the agent didn't allow it. I had to argue with her a bit but when she realized that I had already arranged it the previous day that they would keep it. I don't want to say these 'twists' ruined my stay. I loved the place and would stay again, but they do need to iron some things out for short-term guests (also the laundry card issue, which I won't discuss because it also worked out).
The place is run fairly professionally. I was up on the 56th floor with a fantastic night and day view. At night we could see the lights dotting the landscape for as far as the eye could see, and during the day, I enjoyed watching the golfers at the course adjacent to Tower 2 (I believe there are three total). The room was spotless and when I asked them to clean it, the cleaning crew were there within minutes. The cleaners were also extremely pleasant. The bed was also super comfy, so I slept well. The shower was powerful with lots of nice hot water and the toilet produced a powerful flush (but the seat was loose and needed tightening).

United StatesThe only thing I did not like was that the room stunk of smoke. It had an ashtray and clearly some people in the past have smoked there before.
I loved my stay here. Everything was clean and comfy. The wifi was fast and the fitness room had many working machines. The person who I communicated was friendly, helpful and welcomed me, even though it was late at night.
