Ubud valley resort is Heaven on earth. The resort itself is wonderful, staff were welcoming and always there to make sure that anything you need is secured. The food was amazing, you can feel the positive atmosphere in the resort. We loved everything about the resort.

The pool needs some maintenance as there were broken tiles on ground.

The breakfast was outstanding - very filling, good choice, delicious and ample quantity. Coffee refillable cup. The afternoon tea was also perfect with small portion of hot and cold food. Menu changes every day. The setting is quiet with fabulous tropical garden and flowers. Beautiful surrounds.

Small things - like the fact that one day our afternoon tea plates were not taken away from our terrace and were still there the following day. Also the cut stones used for the garden path are attractive but uneven and not easy to walk on.

The food was very, very good and we enjoyed every meal there. The service too - friendly and fast. We loved the environment and the resorts ambience too.

Nothing at all

We have stayed in many hotels worldwide and Ubud Valley Boutique Resort is exceptional. We stayed for 7 nights and cannot fault it. A 30 minute drive (complimentary shuttle) from the hubbub of Ubud and we were in paradise. On the edge of tropical forests, the tranquility and beauty is breathtaking. Without exception the staff looked after us with smiles, they were courteous, charming, efficient, intuitive and gentle. The food was excellent, fresh and beautifully presented, plus there were thoughtful extras such as afternoon tea and daily activities each morning. Our villa was spacious with a huge, comfortable bed, beautifully and traditionally styled, surrounded by gardens overlooking the infinity pool to the forests beyond. We didn’t make use of the bicycles but we did take some fascinating walks around the local area. Would return in a heartbeat.

We loved absolutely everything. Starting from our arrival the staff was extremely friendly and caring. The room was stunning, even better than in the pictures. It is truly a paradise on the earth!

Beautiful small size resort, 11 villa’s built in Balinese style. Infinity pool with gorgeous view, garden around the villa’s is very well taken care off. Staff very friendly. The hotel is situated in a small place at 20 min from Ubud. The shuttle service to Ubud 3 times a day is very nice. After check out, I left something in our villa. Our next stop was in Seminyak and Ubud Valley Boutique resort arranged a Gojek driver to deliver my forgotten item to my hotel in Seminyak, which made me very grateful.

I don't even have proper words to express how perfect this place was for me. I was looking for a place where I could feel Nature around me for inspiration and writing. The pool villa exceeded my expectations. The beauty made me speechless. It was magical. I had friendly squirrels coming to visit every day, and all kinds of butterflies, birds and all. The staff was so friendly and took very well care of me. The food of the restaurant is delicious! I was impressed with the afternoon tea I had every day in my villa. I also had a great free yoga class in the morning. I felt so loved during my stay. I hope I can go back. Thank you Ubud Valley.

You need to be aware about ants, but can’t imagine this differently if you stay in the middle of the nature. You may also here some noise from the nearby temple or village, but we were not bothered that much.

We liked everything. The resort is relatively small which makes it ideal for a semi-private stay. The whole area is just amazing and well kept, the garden, the pool area, tastefully decorated ambiance. The staff is just amazing. We were traveling with our one year old boy and they made it all needed to make it a nice experience ( we were able to order special pureed food for our kid).

Everything was perfect! Excellent breakfast with a large selection, nice staff and an amazing location in the middle of nature. The hotel is not located directly in Ubud, which was a huge plus for us, as it was super calm, located in beautiful garden. We were lucky enough to experience their BBQ diner which is a must if they offer it during your stay! A beautiful cultural experience with great food!

No complaints!

My fiance and I stayed 3 nights - it's just a stunning experience! It's surrounded by jungle and very well maintained. We loved our room it was just gorgeous & spacious with so many details with a traditional Balinese feel. Beautiful wood carvings & classy. Also a nice bath tub and salts which was nice after a long day exploring Ubud. We stayed in a bungalow with the shared pool & it was plenty. The times we swam we were the only ones there so it felt very private even though there were other guests. The staff is very friendly and we enjoyed the open air breakfast restaurant each morning. They make a special health shot drink with tumeric & spices which I was obsessed with. We did rent a scooter as it's a bit out of Ubud center, which we were ok with and didn't mind as it's a bit more quiet. The hotel offers a shuttle to town but we enjoyed having a scooter. Overall we adored our stay and highly recommend it!

N/A - wish we’d stayed longer

Stayed here during our time in Ubud! Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Their service was impeccable and they truly went above and beyond you. No like for real, they were so considerate about every small need and the facilities were excellent. We got the spa massage and that was 10/10!!! The candlelit dinner was super romantic too :)) it was storming the night we had it scheduled and they arranged it at a private pool for us and I really appreciate that! Overall, super worth the money. The room is huge, the facilities are great, the food is actually so yum, my boyfriend and I absolutely loved our time here! Highly recommend it.

Beautiful and clean environment, great experience staying in the room with traditional Balinese style decoration. Excellent service provided by hotel staff, everyone is very friendly. I am very touched by Ari for making pleasant surprise for my mum when he came to know that day was my mum’s birthday. We only stayed at resort for one night, it was an unforgettable experience for us.

Wow, this villa was exceptional. We had the most amazing stay. The staff here went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The room and view was the best place we have experienced in Bali. It is so private, romantic with so much space with the sounds of the forest just in front of you. Truely magical.

The setting is stunning and the villas beautifully designed and furnished - in perfect harmony with the surroundings. The infinity pool area is gorgeous - overlooking the gorgeous valley, and the breakfasts were delicious. The floating breakfast is also a special touch by the hotel.
