Beds were unfortunately very firm, but could not fault anything else!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The facilities are well maintained and the rooms are always clean and generously sized. The restaurant is incredible and has such great variety, you'll never want to eat anywhere else! The staff were incredible. You can lounge by the pool, wonder through the gardens or watch the surfers on the point. Medewi is a very small, quiet town so we loved that our accomodation was so welcoming and comfortable.

The nicest place we stayed at during our two months trip. The staff are just the nicest! We had a garden room which was very clean, good and quiet, however if you have budget to spare, the ocean view rooms are totally worth it, especially if you're a surfer, because it overlooks the surf point. Food at restaurant was great. We will be back!

Nothing related to the property, but just worth noting that if the waves go flat you’re going to find there’s not much else going on.

Can’t fault this place, the vibes were relaxing, room was clean, beds were comfortable. A/C was nice and cold which is important after being in the sun all day. The restaurant overlooks the break. Breakfast was included. The food was good, as was the coffee. Wi-Fi was solid. I stay here every time I come to Medewi if it’s available, can’t go wrong.

I did find the property expensive for what it is particularly as Medewi is just starting to develop and it's not busy yet with tourists. Side note: The massage tables are quite uncomfortable when you are face down, as the face pillow goes all the way around instead of with an opening at the neck like other tables, so when you're being pressed on in the upper back and neck area, the massage table almost chokes you.

This was a lovely property right on the ocean at Medewi. Great if you're into surfing. If you're not a surfer, there's nothing to do so perhaps Balian is better if you're looking for Yoga and other activities. Nice food, beautiful staff. I had a couple of good massages at the hotel spa. The air-con and Wi-Fi works well and the sounds of the crashing waves block out any noise going on at night.

Food at the restaurant was not really good - but I am a vegetarian. It could be that the fish and meat options are better. Because everything is new it felt a bit sterile. Also know that you cannot swim in the ocean because of stones and waves. But it is surfer paradise.

The rooms are brand new and super clean - the location of the restaurant is also beautiful. You can sit with a drink and watch a stunning sunset in the sea.

There was nothing we didn’t like but a bigger towel hanger would’ve been great as we always had a few wet towels and swimsuits.

We loved the ocean view from the well maintained garden and the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was quite big and the water was clean all the time.

You will need your own transport. There is little to do unless you surf.

This is a great resort to relax and unwind. We loved the onsite restaurant and watching the waves and surfers. The bed was very comfortable. The pool and gardens are fantastic. We would stay again.

Everything was great

We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The room was beautiful and sparking clean. We enjoyed the restaurant not only for the wonderful breakfast menu but also for the extensive variety on the lunch/dinner menu; local, Asian, Italian and American cuisines. Everything we tried was delicious. Best of all, the staff was amazing. Hendra and all of the kind people at the front desk took care of us and always called us by name. The massage therapists were so talented. Ilu and Armaa and everybody at Koko’s always greeted us with smiles and made meals there a bright spot in our day. Can’t wait to go back!
