Villa Alu Lima exceeded all expectations for a serene retreat in Bali. The villa, provided a sense of tranquility and privacy within the bustling streets of Seminyak. The villa itself offered spacious indoor / outdoor living areas which were perfect for both unwinding and entertaining. The bedrooms were havens of comfort, with plush bedding and all three bedrooms had huge outdoor bathrooms but were also very private even though all rooms were adjoining . The private pool area was loads bigger than online pics and each bedroom had gorgeous views of the water from the ceiling to floor glass sliding doors . Really well equipped too from the board games to the bag of ice and cube trays full and ready to go in the freezer . The staff ensured that every need was met, from arranging transportation to recommending the best local attractions and dining spots. A first visit for our Polish guests commented that it was ‘just like paradise ‘. So close to Seminyak's dining and shopping scene, the villa strikes the perfect balance between convenience and serenity. Highly recommended from a long time Bali traveller .

The Villa is at the end of a long private lane with a security guard, however I would have liked more lighting at night as the path is quite uneven.

Wonderful greeting by the staff upon our arrival. The villa was absolutely gorgeous, well equiped, spacious, very clean and private. The Villa offers lots of separate zones and wonderful areas to relax overlooking the sparkling clean pool with tropical vegetation. Everything is so well maintained and manicured. The location also had lots of great restaurants and shopping nearby. I would happily return to this amazing villa.

The host was very easy to deal with, prompt responses and was very helpful. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and make sure we enjoyed and were comfortable staying at the villa. The room was very spacious and the pool was very clean since Lifan cleaned it almost every day. The room was also cleaned on a daily basis. They made our bed and washed the dishes in the kitchen. Location is very strategic within walking distance to seminyak strip busy area. Lots of restaurant and shop to explore. Thank you Carole, Wayan, Sekar and Lifan.

We stayed at the villa for a week. The villa was very close to shops and restaurants and had everything we needed. The owner's recommendation of staff (driver and chef) was excellent. The staff were attentive, polite and courteous and made sure that we were comfortable through out our stay. Special mention to Wayan (Villa Manager) and her staff and also Edi(driver), who too k us around Bali; his knowledge of the island and suggestions for places to visit made our trip even more memorable.

Mrs Sippy can be a little loud on saturdays. We enjoyed the music but it may not be for everyone.

Everything was amazing! The villa is huge, much bigger than photos, the location is right in the centre of everything, all the amenities are of a very high quality, and the staff and owners were amazing. We had a family holiday with a 1 and 3 year old and it was the perfect villa for us. The villa was able to organise airport transfers with car seats, a pool fence, and a lovely nanny to give us a rest. We had a few medical issues with our young children and Wayan and Carol went above and beyond to help us and to check everyone was ok. The location is right in the hub of Seminyak and everything was a short walk. We had the best family holiday at Villa Alu Lima.

The construction noise did get worse towards the end of our stay and would have preferred to know before we paid the last instalment. That being said, we were very appreciative the owner did her best to compensate us. Greatly appreciated.

Excellent location but that came with noise from Mrs Sippy and another bar. Friday and Saturday were the worst. luckily we liked Sneaky Sound System that were playing at the club... That was a bonus.

Everything! It’s even bigger than it looks in the pictures and is in a great location. Great for a girls or couples trip! Wayan is an absolute angel and made our trip so easy and comfortable. We look forward to staying here again next time we’re in Seminyak.

Everything about this villa was wonderful. The location is perfect. The layout, comfort and amenities are all wonderful. The pool we clean and the perfect size. And the staff were lovely, helping with whatever we needed whenever we needed.

unable to pay for room on debit or credit card. cash payment was expected and we did not have it on us. we made an online transfer in the end as cash machines would only let you draw out a limited amount of cash per day.

location to restaurants, beach bars and Beaches were really close. Shops were a 20 minute walk away or short cheap Grab Taxi. My Fiancé and I stayed here for a birthday long weekend and enjoyed the pool and location. staff are extremely friendly and helpful. arranging cake and balloons for my Fiancé and decorated the bedroom.

Unfortunately the floors were extremely slippery when wet from coming out of the pool, but the staff left extra towels for us to lay as floor mats in the kitchen area.

Perfect location, central to all of Seminyak. Private and secure Villa, wonderful staff that attended every day to tidy up, make beds and freshen towels. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need if you wanted an in-house chef or to cook yourself. I will definitely stay here again. Close to Potato Head (2 minute slow walk) but far enough away not to hear the music.
