The location of this villa is perfect - 1 min walk to a the street, so many lovely restaurants to choose from that are super close. We had 8 people staying in the villa and their was plenty of room for us all. Kids loved the pool - so much bigger than we expected. The villa had everything we needed. Thanks for a fab stay!

Could do with a fresh look and minor renovation. Door knob to master bedroom toilet fell off during our stay and sister almost got locked in

Overall our stay in Villa Kunang was wonderful. The jewel in the crown was the beautiful pool that greets you every morning, jet like water pressure mornings/evening (it was crazy humid this time of year) and its central location. I am an old soul so the villa’s vibe and ambience fits me well. However, my family consists of teenagers who wished the amenities were more modern. My kind suggestion is to give the villa a new fresh look. Remove the old, dust and rust coated fans, deco, ceiling lights and paintings. Bathrooms were clean but could also do with a new look. All-in-all the 4 days and 3 nights flew by so fast. Our sincere thanks to Kutu Caretaker for his warm disposition, lovely smile and ever attending to our needs and questions. Ps: Don’t leave food on the coffee table. Ants come pretty fast. There’s a residing gecko that may come to visit. Don’t be alarm by its size and noise. According to local beliefs gecko are signs of a positive clean spirited home. Watch out for the hairy caterpillars too in case you have sensitive skin. Kutu says they can be smelly.

The villa could have been cleaner overall. Eg there was thick dust on window sills and the light switches were also grubby. Maybe I'm too fussy and have high standards! It had a dated feel and would have benefited from modernisation. No air con in the living areas, only the bedrooms, so sitting in the lounge as a group was uncomfortable due to the heat and humidity.

The villa is a good size, the bedrooms all really big, even the single room was a decent size. The beds were very comfy and massive. Great air con in each bedroom. The pool is the hero of the place, lovely well kept gardens with plenty of sun and shade. Drinking water was provided free. The caretaker was lovely, he was very friendly and helpful. He was cutting the lawn with hedge cutters, please give him access to a lawn mower! Location was great, situated in a quiet cul de sac, yet close enough to bars, cafes, restaurants and massage places, also only a short walk to the beach.

Location was fantastic. Clean and comfortable Villa. Putu met us on arrival (arrived late due to flight delay but came to greet us at night!) and went through everything with us. Communication prompt through WhatsApp if needs arise. Beach about 10 minute walk or 2 minutes if you use transport. Bintang Supermarket 5 minute walk. There is also a corner store at the end of the lane about 100 meters away. Food and eateries at the end of the lane. Large pool! Great to chill and cool off in anytime of the day. Villa cleaned daily along with the pool. Aircon in all rooms worked efficiently. Enjoyed our stay!

What a gorgeous villa! Loved the location but the pool was a standout! There were 6 of us in the group and the house was big enough for all to have our own space and Mr Putu is so lovely. Can order food and drinks (proper plates and cutlery not boxed and buntang buckets) from next door Sara Pondok villas and deliver to your door. Would not hesitate to stay again when we go back.

Villa is a little dated, could do with a fresh paint. That large painting in the lounge needs to go. Some fresh towels wouldn't hurt. These things are minor in my opinion and didn't detract from the stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would book it again without thought

The villa is large, the swimming pool is huge and the feel of the place is good. It's a nice private setting, the Villa is located at the end of a laneway, once you enter the villa you immediately escape the noise and the calls of the vendors. It's a relaxing place with comfortable day beds to chill out on. The beds were comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms made the warm nights easy. Also special thanks to Putu for making us feel welcome, Putu looks after the Villa he comes in the morning to clean he works in and doesn't intrude your space.

The property is large with amazing grounds and pool, however the house itself is in need of some upgrades. The cooker didnt work and the decoration is looking a bit shabby. Didnt detract from the stay however, and it is a great price for a large home.

Great value property with an amazing swimming pool. The local property manager was awesome, kept the place spotless and was a great help with tips and recomendations. The onwer doesnt live in Bali and was dificult to contact but the property manager responded very quickly to our e mails. The house is at the end of a quiet street but very central to shops, restaurants and a short 5 minute walk to teh beach.

The photos for this villa don't really do it justice. It's actually bigger than what it looks! Amazing pool and outdoor area. Beds were comfy. Fantastic mosquito nets that actually keep the mosquitos out. Putu our host was lovely and kept the grounds and villa clean and tidy. Super location and tucked away on a quiet street. We will be back :o)

We loved our stay at Villa Kunang. The location is awesome down a lane way and is super peaceful and private. We had a group of 5 with teenagers and grandparents and the Villa is really spacious with a huge pool and lovely outdoor space. Putu who looks after the Villa was amazing and nothing was a problem.

Everything - the pool was amazing, beds huge and comfy, big spacious rooms, plenty of space to relax. It was close to everything but a hidden little oasis, very quiet and peaceful. Was great to have our arrival transfer organised, driver was great, and then to be met at the house and shown around by Putu. Thank you, we loved our stay!

The villa was gorgeous. Spacious, airy and so totally Bali. My husband and I were travelling with three 17yo girls and another of 16. There was space for everyone to escape to their own private sanctuary but still plenty of room for us to all meet in the middle for meals, hang out, swim and laugh. Putu was fabulous. Came in quietly, did his thing, always thorough and available with a friendly smile. Thanks Putu and Villa Kunang, we will be back.

Property could do with some cosmetic updates indoor & outdoor but otherwise no complaints.

We loved the Villa especially the great pool & gardens, it was so relaxing. Fantastic location, just a short stroll up the Gang to Double Six, shops , restaurants & the beach Special mention to Putu who was lovely & so helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Everything! This was our second stay at Villa Kunang and wouldn’t hesitate to book if available next time. The pool and gardens are amazing, villa has everything you need, AC great. Position is perfect for a leisurely 2 min stroll to 66 st. Once again, the highlight is the wonderful Putu (manager) he goes above and beyond to make sure everything req is 100% and he is just a lovely caring man.
