A sheet on the bed would have been good as sometimes I got too hot under the thin doona.

The location was within walking/bike riding distance to lots of excellent restaurants. The traditional bungalows were beautiful, clean and large with huge bathrooms too. Surrounding gardens were stunning. It is a smaller resort with only 7 bungalows making it a very peaceful retreat. Loved every minute here.

Cockroaches.

The staff was extremely helpful, the hotel is very clean and looks new. I would give 5 stars, but we had huge cockroach in the room in the last night and it ruined the entire stay. We called security guy to get it out, I am terrified by these things. The door does not closes entirely and has holes in the bottom and that how I think it came through. The location of the hotel is also great, surrounded by many restaurants and on the beach. The beach is a city beach, do not expect blue water. I also noticed that people in this area mostly older age from Australia. I think if you go to Bali do your research where you want to stay and do. I love vegetarian food and yoga, and my place is UBud with different restaurants that practice healthy delicious food, fresh juices, amazing fruit’s bowls and yoga and others interesting things to do like sound healing.

A little disappointed that sufficient bedding wasn't provided for 5 guests. After clearly communicating there would be two adults and 5 children, and asking for twin beds in the second room (plus the ages of the children, 13, 12 and 9) we were provided with a queen bed instead. As a result, we had to request, and were charged an additional fee for an extra bed per night.

Location is fabulous - can't fault it - right on the beach and only a stone's throw away from the main street of Sanur. The rooms were lovely and large, and well maintained. Beds were comfortable! The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. Sunrise from the balcony in the Ocean view rooms is spectacular!

Beautiful location, close to the walking path along Sanur beachfront. Lovely tropical gardens, well maintained and peaceful. The rooms including the bathroom was spotless. Thank you to all the staff, particularly Krishna at reception who was most helpful arranging transport for us.

Nothing - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The worst part was leaving.

I just absolutely loved Villa Pantai Karang. Everything was perfect. Clean, comfortable beds, amazing location, and so close to the beach. I can’t wait to visit again. A special thank you to Krisna for her prompt responses to our queries. And an early check in :)

Better menus needed. More effort into variety and attention to detail. Having to ask for salt and pepper and then finding them empty is not a good look.

Lovely outlook. Nice place. Paying extra for some types of coffee is parsimonious. The toast was very much underdone. One slice of bacon is stingy. The food was lukewarm when it arrived. We ate it, though. The beach was littered. A lovely setting ruined by humans and detritus. Loved the beach dogs, who treated the day beds as their own. They were fun to watch, delightful in fact.

There were a couple of things missing nothing big, but small improvements: A bar, even just the basics. Luggage service Some kind of tourism information available on site.

The staff was amazing, everything we asked for big and small they provided always with a smile and not a pretend one. They were just very nice. The accommodation and location brilliant, the pool amazing and the beach......straight out of a movie

Beautiful cozy property with nice pool, huge room and luxurious bathroom. Comfortable beds, serene view. Loved that the bathroom had separate shower and toilet cubicles, 2 sinks and a tub! Food from Crema was delicious each time. Friendly and helpful staff. Strongly recommended!

It was so popular we could only book for two nights.

This is a delightful small hotel with just eight rooms and friendly, attentive staff (8am-8pm only). We had upstairs ocean view rooms - worth the hefty tariff. The rooms are spotless and the pool & gardens were well-tended. The gate from the beach is truly 'instagrammable' and the breakfast place is right on the sand overlooking the reef and lagoon. It is also a pleasant place for lunch and offers room service.

Wonderful location, on the beach but more private than other resorts.Super friendly staff in the restaurant on the beach! Fabulous boardwalk out the front stretching in both directions:::no motor bikes or e bikes allowed. So much more chilled than other areas in Bali. So many restaurants to choose from.Beach not sensational like those in Australia but good vibe and very safe! Would return in a heartbeat!

The location n the beach is fantastic, but it still feels private and serene. Lovely spaces to relax, read a book and a great swimming pool, then you can walk out and get a sun lounger by the sea!
