Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndonesiaMy family decided to check out early from this property (1 night earlier from a total 2 nights). To sum up: 1. We checked in the evening around 7pm (about 4-5 hours after a normal guest check in). Villakeeper was there but did not say anything (just stood there and responded when asked). We found all windows were still open - all bugs swarmed (flying termite/laron) in and filled every corner of the bedroom and living room (i.e. larons were attracted to lights for mating, and the villa had lights on every corner - so it could be imagined) - we immediately asked the villakeeper to clean them but given that the bugs were too many, even after the cleaning there were quite a few bugs there. 2. When we checked in, floors were sticky (it seemed that they were not mopped after previous guests) - we needed to ask the villakeeper to mop them the next morning. 3. When we checked in, no garbage bin provided (not even one). We needed to ask for them first. 4. Wifi was too weak. It could only cover mezzanine (floor 1.5th where it was located) and some parts of first floor). It did not cover every bed room. 5. TV could not be used (no cable TV, even using set top box for local tv channels was laggy and only had 4-5 channels. 6. Furnitures were old, bed sheets were old sheets (not dirty but a bit yellowish). 7. No aircon (but quite understandable given it is a Villa in relatively cold region). 8. We had a blackout and no genset or emergency lamp. But to make it worst, we were only provided with 4 small candles (the building size is, according to description, 450sqm, with 3 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, 1 big living rooms - and only 4 (small candles) were provided). Lucky that the blackout was quite brief. Hence, the early checkout.

Saudi ArabiaNO PRIVECY...staff getting inside your VILLA fense and garden frequentelly..with no excuse and NO.MENTION staying for long time...feeding fish cuttings plants at many times through the day...when we mention that to them they repeat this with another staff....No wifi most of the villa....best room in villa with balacony with the best view was closed they speak for (STAFF ONLY)....3 or for guys secuirity..they are always setting down in front of our villa talking louadely. Smoking all time specially in morning....it really bothered us for our 3 days staying...when we want to go out all secuirity came to our car try to take money for small car guiding helppìng to ge out....this is botherd us alot....thats my concernes...and good luck..
Outside balconey setting morning and night day time time from 7 to 9 am then 4 to 6 pm...otherwise inside was very hut and many mosiquito..NO AIR CONDITIONS HOT INSIDE VILLA even at sleeping time..when you open windows mosiquito will bother you....
