The place is a little up and u need to walk or take a buggy to the villa.

The location: there is no direct car access. It is also difficult to contact staff from outside the property by phone.

The property is very clean and comfortable. The staff are very responsive and nothing is ever a problem for them. However, the breakfast was average.

We had a fair amount of work to do online and the internet was not consistent. Often having to run our calls without video which is not the end of the world and also not our favourite way to work with our clients.

Not in the full hustle of Ubud but was walking distance from the palace, markets etc. We loved exploring the local area by foot and the cool cafes such as Schuber Coffee, Vespa Cafe and the Yellow Flower. The private pool was divine. Very quiet by Ubud standards.

This was my 5th time in Bali and I always stay in this area and have tried couple of other hotels. By far, they are the best! All the staff are amazing people, they are always ready to help and they make you feel like home. I couldn’t have asked for more. I have found my hotel and will always stay here while I’m in Ubud

Unfortunately, we had a gecko in our room, which woke us up many times during the night. Not the Villa's fault, but our sleep was very poor because of it. It would have been nice to have healthier options for breakfast.

We loved the location. The Villa was beautiful, as were the staff.

We liked the privacy and the pool was super clean and cool. Close to numerous restuarants. Room serviced daily and turn down service every night. Nothing was too much trouble. Suggestion for some tourist information at front desk or in room. Also would love to have had a fan over the day bed or fan/light. Just for those really hot days and nights. But this place is fantastic and we will be back asap!

While my stay was very good I thought the restaurant needed updating … a fresher menu. The food all around Ubud is very fresh and contemporary and the restaurant could with an upgrade.

I loved the privacy of my Villa. The staff were always helpful and very friendly.

Beautiful, quiet romantic place with wonderful staff who go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for you. When we needed medicine, they drove us all over until we found a pharmacy that had what we needed.

Not so much as negatives for us but wanted to add more details regarding location as it was not very clear to us from other reviews: The villa was located on a street where cars cannot come. Walking distance to center (where most of the action is) is around 30 minutes. There are 2 ends of this street: - one next to cafe Vespa and that is ~200m walk fairly flat (8-10 steps at the end). This is where the hotel buggy can pick you up and where drivers and cabs can drop off. - second is closer to center for walking and ends in the main road. This is ~5 mins walk followed by a long flight of stairs so coming back from city center can be challenging during hot days. Also, these stairs are not well lit during the night.

- Cleaning and room setup was done twice a day - Every evening they would put mosquito repellent incense next to the room and in the bathrooms - very spacious rooms - bottled water replenished twice a day (4 for each room so 8 per day / bedroom) - staff very friendly - pool was cleaned daily and with night lights so it can be used at night - we felt safe and never used the keys - left everything open when we left - the resort and villa are very quiet and with lots of vegetation - fruit market and mini store at 2-3 mins walk

We had some encounters with bugs in our bedroom and bathroom. Even though we comprehend that we're in the midst of nature and that it's natural to find some bugs, it was not very pleasant. The hot water could last for a bit longer as well.

Great villa with private pool and beautiful common areas. Isolated and yet close to the centre of Ubud. The team and host were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and could be ordered to the villa at no extra charge. The available umbrellas in the Villa were a very nice touch.

bathroom facilities slightly getting outdated, but water pressure and hot water great. Outdoor pool could have an outdoor shower facility to rinse off without going through the appartment.

1. The gps location for the stay can't be found on google map or while using taxi/bike ride apps. Make sure you have hotel contact to get help in guiding the driver.

1. I was greeted by a lovely team of Villa Nirvana and I felt right at home. 2. The breakfast will be really upto what you like. 3. The property is well looked after, pool clean and the villa in good condition. 4. The bed comes with net in case you are worried about flies 5. The bathroom is open, however the walls are really high and mostly covered by glass. 6. The hotel has a buggy that will collect you from main road.

While close to the city, it was little more difficult to get a taxi, needing to walk 150m. However, the upside to this was the rooms were so quiet without car traffic.

Fabulous, friendly and helpful staff. Felt like an oasis within Ubud - secluded from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to walk to attractions. Substantial breakfast, enjoyed the massages and private pool.
