How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Loved it all! If I had to critique one minor thing- the pillows on the sofa benches outside. They are old ‘bed’ pillows and one had turned slightly yellow. A cover would’ve been great for it but minor! The place is otherwise spotless and luxurious!!
LOVED my stay here!!! So well thought out- not surprised it’s a Japanese theme, so brilliant. The rooms are luxurious and careful thought has been taken to make the guest experience wonderful! I loved it!! Shree and another young lady (Zuri?) at reception were amazing.

It does the job, perfect for a solo yoga course at Bali, nothing fancy but still comfy. highly recommend to solo to travellers. Basic, clean, and convinent.

The hotel is very clean, beautiful rooms, lovely and very helpful staff and a very good restaurant!
Wasabi is just an amazing hotel, you really must stay here if you want to enjoy Pererenan!

If I have to think of something; a choice of an omelette would have been a welcome addition to the breakfast menu. Or, possibly just something more protein forward than just eggs benedict.
The room was as advertised and there were no surprises. I was happy to be on the second level and away from the stairwell; I enjoyed the cleanliness of the property and that was definitely a highlight. The breakfast as well as the all you can eat sushi was quite satisfying. Also, the service. The staff was extremely attentive to whatever I needed.

We were really sick when we arrive at Wasabi Hotel and We spent 48 hours sleeping in this hotel with the Bali Bely unfortunately :( But one thing we can say is the hotel is really quiet compare to what we tried 2 years ago. People are really nice and friendly ! Close to the beach Swim pool looks nice and Wasabi is also a restaurant ;) You can walk to the beach easily and it’s close to the Shelter restaurant ( amazing restaurant we went 2 years ago !!!) Don’t miss it

The bed was too solid to my liking and the shower was not warm enough. There were some problems with the AC and water boiler but the staff handled them nicely.
The location is quiet and easy to access in Pererenan area. The staff were really nice and helpful. They set a birthday cake shape towels for my dad’s birthday and a complimentary cake which was delicious.

I love this place!!! The staff is awesome, friendly and helpful. My room was totally clean and beautiful. I bought the "all you can eat" of sushi and it was unbelievable. The swimming pool was clean and warm, and looked the same as the pictures. I highly recommend WASABI to everyone

Place has really nice rooms, very clean, and amazing balconies on second floor, where you can just go outside and chill during super hot hours and not being afraid that you are under the sun. Pool is very clean, always provided towels and shower, so when you back after the beach you can wash off the sand. Breakfasts are amazing, very nice. Also are has a lot of great options for food, place just across the road - Roots, really nice fresh food. Beach is just 7min walk. hotel also has a place for parking, so you can get yourself a scooter to explore Bali and have scooter parked nearby.

I was lucky to have an amazing triple room on the top floor on a last minute deal. Extremely comfortable, spacious, lovely big terrace with daybed (all rooms have this). Clean and stylish bathroom. The pool area is lovely and there’s a delicious restaurant on site with amazing Sushi. The location is perfect right in the centre of Pereranan and really near the beach.

It was in perfect location, I could walk to the beach, restaurants and shops without having to get in taxis or scooters. Close to all amenities . Staff were wonderful, they would do anything for you.
