Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe spa was incredible (also on site) but my one piece of feedback is the head rests on the massage tables. They were too big / uncomfortable generally. A quick upgrade of those to something new/modern and the full massage experience would be 10/10. Would also flag that Yoga Searcher is in a great location - center of everything, but that also means it's a little busy right outside the hotel. Depending on what you're looking for, you might like that or hate it! There is a bar across the street with (great) live music that goes until about 10pm. You will likely be able to hear that from your room (not super loud, you could fall asleep to it unless you're a sensitive sleeper).
The breakfast is beyond exceptional. Muzz Kitchen is a great restaurant (open 7:30am to 9:30pm). I eat everything and my partner is vegetarian - we both thought it was delicious. Rooms are quite spacious, amazing deal given what you get for the size. Yoga studio is beautiful and it's such a perk to have yoga on site 3 times a day! Staff were so friendly I really enjoyed my morning greeting from the staff at Muzz Kitchen. Felt like family after a week's stay! It was also very easy to rent a scooter from the business right across the street. That business also does laundry. We also loved that there were only 8 rooms in the place, so the staff is focused on a small number of guests, and you can get to know the other guests if you want to.

United StatesThe wood toggle door locks do not seem very secure. A clever monkey could probably figure out how to get in.

NetherlandsAs others wrote there is live music in the street on Saturdays and you hear that. I was in the bungalow the furthest away so that helped a bit (you can request that). The music stops around 23:00 h so it didn’t interfere with my sleep. I did find the accommodation a bit expensive as I was by myself and the rest of Bali seems cheaper.
I only had 1 full day in Bali and wanted to pamper myself with delicious food, yoga & a massage. Yoga Searcher Bali is the perfect place for this! I did 2 yoga lessons in one day and had an amazing hot stone massage (the yoga lessons and massage you pay separately). The pool is nice and you can walk within 10 minutes to the coast. The staff is very friendly. They made me a takeaway breakfast for my last morning as I had to leave early. They can also arrange drop off and pick up to the airport.

United StatesCheck out was very slow. Elsie from reception was the only friendly and helpful staff. The other receptionist at check out didn't like that I paid with Rupiahs and gave me an attitudeThe noise level from the Ulu Garden bands were unbearable on Friday and Saturday. I had difficulty sleeping.
I liked the room. It was clean and it smelled good. The mosquito net helped to keep mosquitoes away. It was nice to get clean towels and get the room cleaned everyday.

United KingdomStaff could have been friendlier. There is also only one iron in the whole hotel which proved problematic for me as it was always in use when I needed it.
Peaceful hotel in a central location. The rooms were clean and the on-site restaurant is great. The yoga is also really good.

IrelandRestaurant was vegan/vegetarian, would be nice to have more meat options. Not all guests are vegetarian or vegan. You can do both. Bathroom was outdoors and you need to beware of monkeys, we had no issues but made night time toilet trips a bit more adventurous..
Very calm and tranquil. Big bed was very comfortable. Offered yoga classes and the location was great, some nice areas and bars/restaurants were walkable. Room was very spacious, pool area was nice too.

AustraliaWifi kept dropping out all 4 days of the stay. If you need to have a consistent connection for digital nomading, then better to use your phone / mobile network. The pillows are terrible, way to old and thin.... my neck and shoulders are suffering.
Rooms are spacious and traditional Joglo style for that Bali vibe w/ mini bar + snacks + unlimited drinking water in room. Desk is set-up against the window with a view to the pool. Staff do a 'turn down' service at night, putting lights and AC on so the room is comfortable when you return from dinner. Good and fresh vegetarian restaurant attached to the hotel that provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. Location is great for venturing out to cafes, Single Fin and Ulus Cliffhouse. Motorbikes and laundry can be organised across from the property.
