Everything was 10/10, very well located, close to lots of restaurants though the resort was peaceful and quiet which we loved! The gardens were immaculate, the staff super helpful and professional!

We stayed at Ikigai for our last 2 nights on Bali to ‘wind down’ after a long backpack vacation. Honestly this was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at in all our travels around the world. Of course the hotel is a bit pricy but the value for money was still very good! The maintanance of the grounds, cleanliness of the room and service from the impeccable staff were outstanding. The sheer kindness of everyone working here and the detail into which everything is organized around you as a guest created such a peaceful and relaxing environment: chapeau! The whole experience was a great success in our eyes. The beds were supercomfortable (quite soft/european style), the aircon worked great, the bathroom including bathtub and shower were great.. Ofcourse there were some ants and gecko’s inside even at a high end resort like this but that is to be expected on Bali. The food at their own restaurant was very good! They even asked for feedback at checkout, but I couldn’t think of any. 10/10 would recommend. Uluwatu was also great: lots of building happening around but no noise problems from this. Lots of nice European/australian style places to eat in the street the hotel is situated at, but also plenty of Warungs (indonesian restaurants) and local artists selling their commerce at the markets. I would recommend you rent a scooter and drive around the area, and 2-4 nights is a nice time frame for this.

I honestly could not think of anything we don't liked.

Staying at Ikigai was a lovely experience. The staff is super nice and helpfull. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and could choose from a menu with a lot of options. The location is really nice, near a lot of good restaurants and nice shops. Also near Padang Padang beach where are surflessons for beginners: highly recommended! When we come back to Uluwatu we are, in any case, staying at Ikigai again!

I chose this accommodation for my birthday and they generously upgraded our room and left the birthday cake towel in the room for a surprise! It made my day and we did enjoy the whole stay. All staff are kind, polite and always smiling.

The private pool villa was very close to the road, making it very loud with the motor vehicles and club music. Thankfully they provided ear plugs for us to use throughout the night.

Everything was amazing

Wow! This place is stunning!! The room and bathroom were beautiful. Comfortable bed, big hut and so well decorated. The pool was very nice and the restaurant really good. Breakfast was amazing and all other snacks and meals on the menu are very nice! The staff was happy and very friendly. Absolute 5+ stars !!

Sadly they had maintenance work going on right behind our apartment, which was a little noisy. But appreciate this needed to happen at some point - staff were apologetic and kind.

Perhaps reception could be open overnight, but it is understandable for a smaller number of rooms. Regardless, this was communicate dwell.

Small luxurious place in the middle of a busy area. Staff was so so nice and fully paying attention to details...specially during breakfast time :)! (which was delicious btw). Rooms were very clean and with very nice facilities including bottles of wine, snacks and super nice bathtub. Thanks to Nini for all!

An outside shower by the pool would be nice.

Amazing hotel, really spacious and modern Japanese style room with incredible tub and shower area. The pool and bar area also really nice, really peaceful. The food from the restaurant is the best hotel food we’ve had in Bali. Staff are very friendly and quick to help.

Our Airconditioning wasn’t working (and we talked to other guests who had the same issue), we tried multiple times to have it fixed but they didn’t seem able.
