“Both the cottage and its riverside location are absolutely beautiful. It truly is a MAGICAL HIDEAWAY. David and Amy waited for me to arrive and were very supportive and helpful. Staying in the cottage was like stepping back in time. I loved the cosy kitchen with stove, the two authentic upstairs bedrooms and modern, renovated bathroom and shower. The cottage is only a few minutes drive from New Grange. You can walk there along the river bank. I also loved the pink rose-covered stone walls and the window boxes and spring flowers by the river and behind the house. Lock Cottage is very close to Dalys Hotel at Donore and a small supermarket. It is right in the middle of the sacred sites of County Meath and highly recommended for the beauty and peaceful serenity of the surrounding countryside.”
