Reception was OKish- they did not have a pen for us to sign the book- staffmember took pen out of her hair bolla and handed to us. Please keep pens just for guests use

Everything was great.

Lots of space, big bathroom. Choice of restaurant for breakfast. Set in wine estate with wine tastings available, lovely farm shop. Very comfortable place to stay a couple of nights.

a Fire alarm in our room went off early morning hours during a big storm and we were unable to locate anybody to assist to switch it off. I eventually managed to find a switch it off. The friendlyness of the staff in the morning to check in on us despite going being in the middle of the storm themselves made up for the inconvenience and we can only compliment the team on a brilliant effort.

Stunning breakfast with a wonderful view over the vineyards. Magic.

The unwillingness to boil 4 eggs for our "on the go" breakfast. This could easily have been done on the previous day.

A problem with my booking was not solved in a human manner, that is very sad. You should have some trust in your loyal customers. They just refused my booking because theirs and the booking.com system went tilt ‘after’ I did the booking, completely out of my control or liability. So They refused to confirm my booking (for a room that was free!) when I was already on the road to the property, and also had stayed there a week earlier. Cruelty, with a friendly face, but still intolerable, a nightmare you do not want when traveling.

Top destination, recently upgraded with good restaurants and shop on site. The pool suite was marvelous.

The Jonkershuis was formerly one substantial Cape Dutch style property but is now divided into three quite spacious areas. Unfortunately the units were re-designed with communicating doors between them and ours was certainly not soundproof, cigarette smokeproof, or light proof coming from the central unit. In fact it had not been well designed/installed and should in our opinion be re-done with double doors. Water pressure in the shower(s) was quite low but there may not be much that can be done about that.

Very comfortable accommodation at the heart of a working wine farm, with no less than 3 on site restaurants, all excellent in their own way and with a choice of "Suzanne" or "Stoep" for breakfast. Excellent swimming pool a few metres away from the room.

The service at the restaurants did not live up to the excellent standards set on the accommodation side. Menu options were a bit disappointing and the service was s-l-o-w to say the least.

The views at this location are truly breathtaking. We found the accommodation to be super-comfortable and the chilled bottle of wine on arrival was a treat! Loved that the pool was open for swimming at any time, day or night.

There is lots of staff at the restaurants, more than needed, then put someone at the pool instead. No one cleans up, when there is wind, the umbrellas fell into the pool which I had to take out myself. Pool will be cleaner then too. It was ok, but can be better

* The accommodation is gorgeous! Super comfortable beds, very well equipped rooms, lovely restaurants, stunning views, but most of all it's the team who work there that make this place the best place to stay! Brooke on reception, Marlon in Stoep Restaurant, Tammianne, Keisha, Nelly...../ wish I'd made a note of everyone's names, as they are all stunning, housekeeping team included, so friendly and so warm. Love this place!!!!!
