Kitchen is a bit small but then it is a proper little cottage

The warm welcome, the peace and quiet and wonderful location between the mountains and the sea. John the host is thoughtful and a great communicator.

There are two individual cottages available. We had the smaller but it was still perfectly roomy for three adults. Two full baths. Kitchen essentials supplied (including a lovely apple tart!). The host John is utterly charming. The location overlooking the sea is just spectacular. Very easy walk down to Streedagh Beach. And the view of Benbulben in the other direction is gorgeous. We used this as a base for day trips to Slieve League and Donegal Town, stopped in at the Rusty Mackerel, Glencar Waterfall and Gleniff Horseshoe, Bundoran, and the Fairy Bridges. It's in a quiet area, so great sleeping.

Can't really think of anything that didn't live up to our hopes, except maybe the weather. All amenities were provided and the beds were comfortable. The house is a very warm house too.

Fantastic location with wonderful views all around. John was very friendly and helpful and the property had a lot of small touches that helped us with our stay. For example, prior to arriving, we had driven over to Coney Island and the two cars were splattered with salty sand. There was a hose and a brush in the yard for just such an eventuality.

Initially a little tricky to find, despite signs. Worth mentioning that it is at the end of a series of long narrow country roads!

Classic Irish country cottage in a beautiful location. John is a great host and the area is absolutely gorgeous.

Cozy cottage tucked away in a peaceful setting with easy access to all amenities. Warm welcome by host John, making every effort to make my stay comfortable. View from the cottage of Benbulben, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Peaceful gem of a spot where you will get away from it all.

A lovely, spacious cottage with lots of character. Comfortable beds. Excellent heating system and showers. Very well equipped. Lovely walk from back door along quiet lane to the sea. The host John was very welcoming and helpful. Cottage is located down country lanes but only 5 minutes drive to Grange and an excellent Supervalu.

John was the consummate host. He actually knew my relatives (that I hadn't yet met). He was wonderful and showed genuine sympathy for the loss of my sister. The beautiful paved walk that he made through the back of the yard that led to the road to Staad Abbey and the wild beach was amazing! I hope to be back. Maybe with enough family to use the larger cottage or both cottages!!

From the off John was friendly, helpful and welcoming ,a font of local knowledge and we enjoyed the treats John provided. Our little two bed cottage was exactly as described, the area was quiet and peaceful but close enough to anything we wanted to do incuding lovely walks to the rocky shore beach and the beautiful Streedagh beach (longer walk) it was also close to many places of interest - the best of both worlds. We felt very relaxed there and recommend Beezies to anyone wishing visit Sligo.

The cottage was lovely, three big spacious rooms that sleep three each. lovely walks and beaches within a stones throw. location to grange village was ideal for shop, pub etc. Sligo and Bundoran were just 15/20 minute drive. will definitely be back.

What a beautiful, clean, warm and comfortable house with amazing views! John is such a fantastic host - he could not have been more accommodating. He had the heat and kettle on for us when we arrived, milk in the fridge and a beautiful cake and box of chocolates left for us to enjoy. We had such an enjoyable stay and would have no problem recommending Beezies. We hope to come back again someday! Thanks for everything John.

When we arrived John was there to give us a great welcome. The house was absolutely beautiful and located in a spectacular area. The views from the house are something that everyone should experience. The house is located very close to all amenities and there are things within a short drive away to do the young families. The experience that we had was brilliant and hopefully we will get to visit again very soon.

Beezies is the kind of accommodation you might dream about when planning an Irish holiday - a comfortable cottage in the countryside within a short drive of beaches, villages, mountain hikes, seaside resorts, & the city of Sligo. John is the consummate host, whose instinct for hospitality and attention to detail only make your stay more relaxing. What we also know (and hope you needn't learn firsthand) is that if misfortune should befall you during your stay, you can't ask for a better friend in your corner than John Feighney. We would recommend a stay at Beezies without hesitation.

I was a bit disappointed that only one shower could be used at the one time I believe this was caused by the water pressure in the area and not any fault of the owner.

The location was perfect. As we arrived John opened up the cottage and explained the workings of the heating and immersion heater.

Very little. The entire family had a great time.

Stunning location close to Streedagh beach & a great base for sightseeing & shopping in Sligo. John was an excellent host & the cottage is certainly a home from home. Quiet peaceful & so relaxing. A thoroughly enjoyable break. A large garden & rear yard easily accommodated 2 cars which was safe & secure.
