I am being honest when I say I can’t fault this place in the slightest, I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a place were I felt so at ease and comfortable, especially travelling alone.

I have stayed before and said I’d be back after the great experience I had the first time. This time they had the use of the kitchen and the food was amazing, the service of the staff was exceptional, everyone of them were very friendly and approachable, nothing was an issue, it’s obvious they love this place by the hard work and effort they put in, made you feel at home and they have a great rapport with the regulars and you are not treated any different.

hidden gem. a pub from the outside and like a little hotel inside. rooms absolutely spotless, modern and freshly renovated. really good selection for breakfast and staff were very welcoming.

Fantastic value for money. That bed was so comfy, I had such a good night sleep. The room was gorgeous with different lighting options which I personally love. The bathroom was pristine and everything seemed brand new. The breakfast was beautiful and the staff were so friendly. I really enjoyed my short stay, I will definitely stay again.

The restaurant wasn't open for the first couple of nights of our stay, which was a pity. Limited cooked vegetarian choice at breakfast unless you eat eggs (I don't). No hairdryer in the room but one was provided once I asked.

This was unexpected. The rooms are over a pub but completely separate and removed from the pub area. The rooms are modern and are of superior hotel quality. Location is right in the middle of the town and is just a short walk from the train station. Great breakfast!

There needs to be an extra smiley face on the rate your stay rating scale, because the staff were extremely professional, courteous, helpful and efficient.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly! The server for breakfast was exceptionel. Very customer focused and kind. The rooms as well as the entire hotel were very well kept and clean. Great pub and restaurant with atmosfare and tasty well priced meals. Good location a short 5-minute walk to an active part of town with a good choice of more restaurants and pubs.

There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about this place. Whoever owns/is managing this place - good job!

The rooms are stunning, newly renovated to a very high standard, the food is GORGEOUS, for €78 I got my room for the night and breakfast - I had the best eggs benedict I've tasted in a long time. I've stayed in really expensive hotels that weren't serving food near the standard of this place! And the staff..... well... they are just really sound people. No other way of putting it. They are absolutely lovely. I looked up the reviews on this place and thought they couldn't be real given the price... they are. I'll most definitely be staying there again.

The room was very hot. The extractor fan went on to long after light was turned off so that Wiukd need to be adjusted. No hangers in the bedroom I spoke to staff reg this told were on order. I would suggest buy wire ones until the proper ones arrive. Hairdryer had to be requested best to install one in each bedroom would be more convenient for the guests.

Modern clean bedrooms lovely bathroom with rain head shower.The food was lovely I requested a late dinner and they happily obliged. The breakfast was lovely and quick the Manager was lovely and helpful.
