The staff were exceptional I travelled with my young child and every member was so kind and thoughtful to him especially lady at breakfast and reception.Lady even remembered his name when we were going. The room was quirky and bed very comfortable. Beautiful decor in house.

The weather but nobody's fault

Everything, especially the friendliness of the staff, special mention for Pauline, the restaurant manager, who once she found out I was looking for my mother birth place. Pauline phoned a lady called Eilish Feeley, who is a genealogist, and helped me to find out a lot about my Irish ancestors. I strongly recommend this lady if you need to find your past. The food was lovely, and the breakfast was outstanding. Would definitely stay here again. First time to the town of rosscommon, but it definitely won't be the last, a beautiful little town with a lot of history. Loads to see, i.e., the Abby, the castle plus plenty more...

Everything was PERFECT. Could not fault one thing

Loved this Gem in Roscommon Town. From the moment I arrived in the car park Noel the maintenance man helped me park, very nice ,helpful chap..Olivia on reception was so friendly and explained everything and arranged me a taxi to the wedding venue I was attending. The room was lovely, bed very comfortable and bathroom beautiful. The breakfast was perfect all included in price and 2 teabags in the teapot was a nice change. Very relaxed place, staff couldn't do enough for their guests. Highly recommend 100% Thank you Gleesons I'll definitely be back.

As a solo traveller eating in a big dining room, it felt ‘clinical’. I would have liked the staff who were all very efficient, to be more relaxed and engage in more conversation with me. There was no information in the room to promote the town.

There was a menu for breakfast with a range of hot and cold choices. The home made soda breads that came with food was delicious. The sea food chowder was the best I have tasted.

2nd time to stay and would highly recommend. Beautiful hotel with lovely restaurant and bar area. In the centre of town with free parking available.

Room was a little cold when we arrived. There was an oil radiator in the room but it would have been nice if the room was pre heated before our arrival. However it didn’t take long for it to kick in.

The staff especially. Extremely helpful and polite. Special mention to Chloe who met us for breakfast with a smile even at 9:30am. My husband and I both agreed she made our morning. We’ve stayed in a lot of places but no one could come close to Chloe’s enthusiasm and friendliness.

Rooms were very warm at night but that’s most hotels.

Great location, good parking at the back of hotel. Staff super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and very welcome after a long day of not eating! Had my dog Albert with me, they were very welcoming!! Would recommend and stay again. 😁

Gleesons is right in the centre of Roscommon, set back from the main square. It is already comfortable and they are upgrading rooms further. I had one that has recently been done with a fantastic bathroom

They were very accommodating in providing a room that my daughter could eat in after the restaurant was closed, which was very much appreciated.
