It's a fairly large hotel-like operation. There is no Kathleen. It's a pleasant place but not the rural "country home" type of experience I was expecting. I admit I didn't research properly.

On a fairly busy road but backing onto rural type setting. Within minutes of town centre while retaining a certain rural charm.

A high quality of comfort and service throughout our stay. Large well-equipped rooms and bathrooms, and a copious breakfast. Plenty of comfortable public space within the hotel.

Kathleens is a little out of town so parking is easy and the premises is purpose built in a semi rural setting and very comfortable. Lin and her staff did an excellent job looking after us along with great breakfast options each morning. We would certainly stay there again if we ever return to Killarney.

No facility for an evening meal but the centre of Killarney was only a few minutes drive away.

Everything was to our satisfaction from start to finish. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and it looked like the bathrooms had been recently refurbished. Breakfast was good and free parking on site.

Lovely B&B about 5 min. drive out of Killarney centre on N22. Easy drive up to car park at top of main street into pubs/food venues, free after 6:30pm. Breakfast was lovely service. Great place to be after a day of driving the Ring or Dingle/Slea Head experience!

Road noise. The guesthouse is situated on the main artery to Limerick. It would have been nice if breakfast was served from 7.30 rather than 8am.

The room was a good size and furnished comfortably. Breakfast service excellent. Lovely staff.

The country house is located near Killarney National Park. It is outside the town center, with parking lots for the guests (good choice if you travel by car). The house is styled in an beautiful old- fashioned way. The bed is good, and so is the breakfast. All staff were very friendly.

Main road location in 100kph zone made entry /exit a bit tricky. Sound insulation poor between downstairs and upstairs

Main road was very noisy till quite late at night and I had to close the windows about 5am when the traffic started up again. This wasn't ideal as it was a very hot, humid night.

Lovely hotel with amazing facilities. Large, spacious room with views over the garden. Library was so calm and relaxing. Lots of little nooks and crannies to just sit and relax plus a lovely back patio to sit and listen to the birds.

This place is exceptional! The staff from the moment we entered until we left were very professional and accommodating. The location is close to many places we wanted to visit. It was quiet and the grounds were beautiful. There were wonderful little seating areas for people to gather. Breakfast was delicious!
