Basic breakfast. Tea & toast. Location excellent. In the town centre just off a main street yet quiet. Lots of good restaurants & pubs with music. Shops & a theatre nearby.

The showers in the women's bathroom didn't really work and there were no places to put ur stuff while showering.

Not enough outlets in the room for the number of people staying. Showers were also not great.

The showers aren't really comfy, there was water dropping from one shower all the time; one toilet seat was broken; a shortage of power sockets in the dorm and the heating isn't good and controllable enough for the winter season. Also, a card payment machine is missing, it creates problems related with a usage of foreign cards. However, the staff didn't request from me possible damage deposit.

Very friendly, helpful and understanding staff, despite I had to calm some of their concerns related to my health condition, to prove it's not danger to other guests, and they were tolerant to the some consequences of my traveller lifestyle and health problems.

Very nice hostel close to everything in Westport. The property is clean and comfortable. I could also store my bicycle in the storage.

It rains all the time in Ireland, so why this hostel had push button water demand in the showers is beyond me. It was quite a challenge getting much bathing done while constantly having to poke the button like a basketball playing chicken, to get a few more dribbles of water.

This falls in the "you get what you pay for" category. Great location. First time in a mixed shared room which was a little creepy. My daughter slept in the bunk above me, which was good. We had a random Irish man sharing the room. He was actually very nice, but we didn't really get to talk to him until the following day, so there wasn't much sleeping going on that night. Cheap though.

Sockets in the room didn't work very well, and it was sometimes difficult to get the new door code to enter the rooms. But these are minor things; I highly reccomend!

Great value for money, bed and linenes were very comfortable, the kitchen had great facilities, bathrooms were very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Location was perfect for strolling around the shops, bars, and restaurants in Westport.

That the kitchen doesn't open until 8 am. As a digital nomad and early bird I'm missing a seating area earlier in the morning.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Free tea and coffee is always appreciated.

There are no lockers in the room. The top bunk beds are so low that you can’t even sit on the lower bed. The shower button was a nightmare, you have to be super bendy to press it with your feet to keep the water running and get a decent shower.

The location is great, in the middle of town, surrounded by shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The staff is friendly and there was a light breakfast included in the price.

The pillow was uncomfortable. In the room the are no lockers and the plug for the phone is not close to the bed.

The hostel is located 15 minutes walking from the train station and it is only 6 minutes from the bus stop to go to Croagh Patrick! The guy at the reception is really nice and makes you feel really welcome!

The shower water pressure is bad and only lasts a few seconds so you have to keep pressing a button to get water back on its ok if your used to it. Thin walls.

Jo was very helpful and welcoming, walls are thin so bring earplugs l had an early departure so had to leave in the dark so as not to waken the other guests. Was lovely and clean, well laid out kitchen nice comfey beds wifi and yeah really nice. Has a dish washer and paper towels to dry hands.

Lack of electricity sockets in the sleeping rooms

Very nice travelers hostel. Clean with good facilities in a very cool old stone building and a very good location in the town
