Breakfast was lovely. the Doolittle restaurant excellent , however the pygmallion was too big and noisy for us so we changed restaurants on the Sunday night for this reason but the Doolittle was really nice .

Leaving...

It is an experience more than just a hotel stay. The beautiful grounds with breathtaking views of the sea make leaving the estate unnesssary. The pool with saunas, steam rooms, and spa cover all basis so you can relax after walking the many walkways on the grounds. And just for fun, they have thrown in a murder mystery and mission impossible activity to be solved. The staff make a place and Parknasilla is no different, every staff member we came into contact with was friendly, helpful and made the trip with warm charm.

Breakfast and dinner were fabulous! Wonderful selection and staff especially Alexandra and Ankush were fabulous. Great customer service..will definitely return again! Can’t wait!

The swimming pool was too cold. This was particularly an issue for children. My sons teeth were chattering after a few minutes and I noticed other children looking really cold too after a few minutes. I’m a swimmer so although it’s a great temperature for training in, it’s not warm enough for family time and to be able to just have fun and play with the children.

The food is excellent. Wonderful breakfast, we ate in the Doolittle bar for lunch and dinner both days and it was delicious. Great breakfast too. Amazing location and the hotel is beautifully maintained and absolutely spotless.

Beautiful setting and the views are spectacular. The boat trip with noel was fantastic was a gorgeous day for it. The outdoor infinity pool and inside spa was so relaxing. The food was average and little overpriced but other than that was a lovely hotel. The staff were all so friendly and smiling always

I didnt like having either to pass through hotel in dressing gown to get to or come from spa facilities or go from back door,which although more private,leads to outside,which given when weather isnt great,be that cold,windy or even raining,isnt really good to get to or from your room in a dressing gown either to or from the spa.

The vitality spa and sauna facilities,the view of mountains and lake from the sauna ,sensational!.The variety of walking trails,great for walking and views were stunning.The piano playing during dinner,was such a treat and the music played beautiful,brought back some lovely memories.Fantastic staff,friendly and professional,the food delicious.

The bed wasn’t great and we both didn’t sleep well. Maybe was just us that don’t like so hard beds. The “king” bed was actually two beds pushed together. The food in the main restaurant was my biggest disappointment. The restaurant had only one option for vegetarian people and I never have something so tasteless. There was absolutely no flavour in the cauliflower Indian dish and sadly enough my partner had a steak that was very bad. He asked for a medium and came out well done. The rest of the steaks on the tables around us looked ok but that wasn’t great piece of meat itself at all. The poor quality of the food destroyed our experience for his birthday. If we knew that food isn’t great we would go to the Doolittle restaurant which is in the resort also. The food there the first night was delicious. For people with milk intolerance you have many cereal options but no dairy free milk and same for the coffee you need to go to the coffee place order your coffee with dairy free milk and bring it with you for breakfast.

The resort was very quiet with such a relaxing atmosphere. Spa facilities were well maintained and very good. To be at the infinity pool and have all those nice views its incredible. Room was very clean and had everything that you may need. The place can keep you busy with nice walks, tennis court, kayaking and lots of other activities.

Nothing it was all perfect!

EVERYTHING! Location, staff, atmosphere are all out of this world! It was our second time visiting and we are already planning a third visit. I cannot stress how amazing everything is from the amenities to the staff to the welcoming feeling they have created!

No lift available to a section of the accommodation. Had leg injury and the stairs was a bit of a chore.

Facilities were amazing. Spa has everything one would need.
