Evening meal was cold, breakfast was cold had to ask staff to heat both up. But breakfast was nice. Pricy for accommodation considering what’s on offer.

we got the wrong rooms at first, they moved us to the correct rooms. I made the reservation for 2 rooms which means that we have seen 4 rooms at the hotel and all of them didn’t get hoovered, the carpet was dirty and the coasters for the glasses were wet. They didn’t empty the kettle (who knows for how long the water has been there) plus they turned the heating off during the night and apparently the heater also heats the shower, consequently there wasn’t hot shower during the night and morning because they only turned it on in the morning and it takes time to get warm. In two rooms the phone wasn’t working so we had to go down to the reception whenever we wanted to ask something. The parking for the hotel is really small, if you’re lucky you get a spot otherwise you will have to find another place to park.

Staff was nice, good location, the breakfast was decent as well.

Main grievance was the floor had not been hoovered properly! I hate to say that as the room was value for money, but there was lots of plastic etc leftover that the hoover didn’t pick up. The room was a little dated, which didn’t overly bother me but we noticed the bedside lamps would flicker and go from very bright to very dim like they weren’t working properly.

Couldn’t have asked for a better location. The bathroom and bedroom were very spacious. Check in was listed as 3pm, but we were allowed to enter the room about 20 minutes earlier than that which was great. Menus in the room a nice addition, to know what’s on offer in the restaurant. Good selection of channels on the tv. Lots of towels in the bathroom. Our room had three big windows which was lovely, and kept the room bright and airy.

A couple of issues but staff helped where they could. Rooms very dated but I believe renovations are in the pipeline.

Beds were comfortable. Hotel reception area was comfortable. Location was great. Walking distance to train station and stadium.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable as we felt like we were rolling into the middle of the bed. As is the case with the Irish hospitality industry, the room rate is expensive & is not good value for money.

The location of the hotel was great.

No atmosphere whatsoever. We wanted to watch the rugby but the TV in the bar did not work. No music or entertainment, in fact when we returned to the hotel at 12.30pm it looked deserted. Breakfast was ok. There was only one towel in the room

    Nothing bad

From the time Mary greeted us at the reception it felt like being home after a long road trip Rooms were clean comfortable and the kids loved the space. We were 1 parent and 2 kids 12 and 9 years old girl and boy. Location was central with convient shopping nearby. The continental breakfast included was a good spread. I like my cooked breakfast and the 2 together fortified us for the day.

The bar is quite sterile. Taking away some of the knives and forks for people who just want to have a drink in the evening would be great.

There was construction taking place when we landed and it was not on the website when we booked- the parking was closed because of this and the elevator was being used by the builders as there were dirty foot prints in it. We had to wait almost 2 hours to get let into our room. We were given 2 free drinks however they closed the bar after the 1st and we had to spend an hour sitting in the lounge making awkward conversations with another guest. We were there on a Thursday and Friday and the bar was closed both evenings. It would have been a great stay if their was no construction going on and the bar & restaurant were open but the weekend we went it just was not worth the money we paid

Rooms were recently modernised. Our room was very spacious, and the bathroom was beautiful. Ideally situated

The breakfast, the food was cold, and the server had her hair down, not pulled back. We went to Lyons Cafe for breakfast, even though it was included in our room. no restaurant, no parking, the front desk clerks had the heads down reading (?) Never acknowledged us.

A lot!!! We were furious not to be allowed into our room til 5.20pm!!! Check in was at 3.00pm but our room wasn’t ready till 5.20pm. Unforgivable in our books. It’s a generous check out time of 12.00 but that only gives 3hours to turn round all the rooms…. At 5.20pm the two east European guys who were still there, looked exhausted. Hence this seems like poorly managed hotel. Others complaints were fending by the lovely charming receptionist who said she was the only one there so no mgt available to speak to upset guests… more like hiding in a cupboard embarrassed I’ll bet!! No restaurant. Tiny car park which we squeezed into but were block by 4 workmen’s cars in the morning.€126 seemed a lot for attic room on 4th floor. BTW: I did a feedback form as requested during our stay so “ they could rectify any problems “. I never heard back from them, unless you count an empty email from front desk, with content!! Again, poor impression of mgt.

    Location was ok.
