How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The staff and reception were very lovely and accommodating, the room was excellent and the location is pretty much in the city centre, close to everything. (Lounge area where you can get tea is also very helpful and nice 👍 I also got a welcoming card in my room, which was very nice 😁👍) I would very much recommend this place and I may plan this place again for another visit to Limerick City 😅 Sorry if this post comes off as too gushing over the place, it was really that nice of a place 👍

Our only difficulty was getting directions via GPS.
Wonderful place to stay. Great location and very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.

Everything was 10 out of 10. The central location in this beautiful city was perfect for us as more mature( late 60s and 70s) users of public transport. The breakfasts downstairs in the restaurant were just outstanding....absolutely no problem for them to feed a vegetarian who did not eat eggs but did eat all milk products. It was really impressive as to how the staffnot only worked together as a team but seemed happy doing so. Would stay here again in a flash! E

Nothing negative- a really fabulous stay.
A surprisingly modern and high quality finish to the rooms. Excellent sound proof windows- can't hear a thing when windows closed! Beautiful aroma throughout entrance hall and around the corridors. Perfect city centre location. Cafe attached downstairs with great menu, lovely food and perfect coffee! Staff at breakfast we just lovely!

Limerick had limited eating options. It was a Wednesday evening and many restaurants open at the weekend.
Really nice room with very comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and the hotel is clean and well appointed.

No coffee making facilities in room, although available in guest lounge. No space for wash bags by basin. Towels not close to shower.

We can hear people from one of the room aside ours, but they are very loud indeed. They are no sound from the other side even though we know they are occupied.
Central location. Close by parking at Harvey's Quay with discount from hotel. Reception is very friendly and helpful. Checkin and checkout are very easy.

I cant fault this place i loved it .
We got the warmest welcome from Sharon and all the staff, they were so friendly and helpful, we where delighted with our time here the beds were cosy and the room had lovely decor and very clean the breakfast was so delicious and lots to choose from . I really looking forward to staying here again

Superb boutique hotel, small in size but with everything you could ask for. Well located to city attractions, eateries and watering holes. Sharon who greeted us was very helpful and welcoming. Rooms superbly decorated and comfortable. Lounge and gym facilities a bonus. Great place to stay.

The property is located extremely centrally, less than 10 minutes walk from the train station. Extremely welcoming staff who are happy to assist with any questions you have about your stay or the city. The room is great, clean and modern with some nice touches. The food was great too. Overall great value for money and will definitely stay here again when I am visiting the city again.

Only one bit of feedback is that insulation to noise from other rooms could be better. Could hear every footstep in the room above and also the room next door, including their mobile phone and voices.
Great location to explore limerick, beautiful decor, very clean, gorgeous finishing touches and breakfast in the morning was delicious.

The rooms were very clean, and the beds were really comfortable. The location was great. Parking was convenient. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff provided excellent service and were super friendly!
