“We had a lovely stay at Kharjap homestay in April 24. The hosts were extremely welcoming and gracious, and we really enjoyed meeting the whole family and getting to know more about the place, it's culture and the efforts to preserve the local traditions. Tashi and Lumu looked after us really well, with simple but amazing home cooked food, and we felt like we were staying at home away from home. The local village has a wonderful 17th century fort that is very interesting to explore and learn about - do ask the hosts for a guided walk around it if you do visit. There are also wonderful views of the mountains around the area, however we were unlucky with the cloud cover and could only get a small glimpse during our stay.”

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
