The hotel shared its premises with other businesses, and some of the doors to these other businesses were very dirty. This was odd, but intriguing. Ways vary in other places, eh.

Poor internet, there was an air conditioner unit running opposite my window running much of the night. The area is very rough, although as elsewhere in India filled with many friendly and helpful people.

The location was perfect . close to Central train station and the start to the Mumbai marathon which is the purpose of our visit . There are various places to eat and drink directly outside. we found a couple of nice restaurants The staff were really helpful and polite

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was lovely and hot. Big bed, it was hard but we are OK with that, some people may not be. Walking distance to Chhatrapati train station and the gateway to India. Pretty quiet but we were at the back not on the street. Omelette, bread and coffee were fine for breakfast.

Bedsheets were dirty. Staff was weird, we didn't feel welcomed at all. They didn't speak a single word with us. There was no water bottle provided inside the room and no cups or glasses. No shelf space inside the bathroom. Shower floods the whole bathroom.

Location is good, size of the room was good. Had a third bed which we used as shelf. Is OK for two or three nights if you only need the room for having a shower and sleeping.

A small, well-located hotel just a few minutes from the historic center and very good value for money. The staff were on hand when we arrived at 2am and were helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The Indian breakfast is of very good quality.

As we honestly feel we should warn fellow travelers and are ourselves avid readers of reviews when booking accommodation… - Urinal cakes scattered around room (see photo). According to reception, which confirmed said objects are in fact urinal cakes, they are to keep the bugs away. In this respect they were effective. But the whole floor and especially our room was filled with an unpleasant, nauseating, toxic stench. By day 2, our clothes and belongings began to stink too. At the time of writing, the stench sadly remains an unwanted souvenir from the hotel. - Plastic construction sheets covering window outside (see photo) - Uncomfortably hard mattress that made our bodies ache - Very loud (doors slamming day and night, loud local guests crammed in 7 to a room for a late night party opposite who acted aggressively when politely asked several times to keep the noise down, even the AC was painfully loud). Impossible to sleep even with earplugs. - The hotel only actually occupies a few floors of the building. The floors below are pretty grimey, sometimes loud, lots going on. - One of our towels had what appears to be a blood stain on it (see photo) We would have checked out after the first night and cut our losses if we could have found anything better, but last minute almost nothing was available. There are almost certainly worse hotels in Mumbai and the general standard of accommodation under €300 a night is not brilliant, we gather. But all we can advise on is the hotel we stayed in - and highly recommend you look elsewhere. Run!

Photo shows full building which is not exactly hotel building exclusive. You find crammed spaces in corridor. Chawl like in some floors. Avoid for family

Building is shared by local residents. Hotel has few rooms on some floors. ok for Mumbai CST. cant recommend to anyone.
