The Room was not clean. They were has on the bedsheets and the floors and surfaces were not clean. But compared with other hotels in India and especially in daily it was OK. But our room was supposed to be 21 square meters and it was maximum 16 m². We complained about that but the manager told us that that was the room we had booked although booking.com stated clearly the size of the room. They did not give us a bigger room, nor did they give us some refund. 

 The hotel has a very nice restaurant attached. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. all in all it had a good atmosphere.

We liked this hotel.

It’s a great location to go and site see Delhi. It has a great cafe/ restaurant attached. Good food. We stayed a few times here,always getting a better room. I think if you can get a front room with a balcony it’s great for watching the hustle & bustle of the street.We found this hotel very reasonable.

Breakfast could be better but coffee is nice

The staff was nice and helpfull - they let us keep the bags after checkout and even rest after. The location is walk distance from railways and metro. Shower with warm water and good pressure.

The hotel is an oasis in the crazy Paharganj. Breakfast was brilliant, great variety of food . The family room was really specoius. Aman the manager on the day of our arrival was very helpful. We could check in earlier in the room. And since we were leaving very early on the second day of our stay, he arranged that we had breakfast on the day of arrival instead. Really appreciated.

My room number was 317 and the AC was out of order. I spoke in Hindi and explained to the room boy that it was not working. But he laughed and said the cooling process takes five to ten minutes and nothing was done thereafter. Nonetheless, the room was comfortable enough with the ceiling fans. I stayed on a half-board basis, for three nights during my VFS interview in Delhi, with my wife and two kids aged twelve and one. The food was good and tasty. It was very important to have a healthy diet for us to stay sharp before the crucial matter we were planning to complete successfully in Delhi. The Arakshan road, where Hotel Ajantha was located, is very narrow, busy, and filled with careless trishaw drivers. Once you are out of the hotel door there is no knowing where you might sweep off to. But again, there is nothing Hotel Ajantha can do about its location. That is a risk you should take in almost every corner of Delhi.

I think it is not the best in town, but Hotel Ajantha is worth the price you pay. They have a shuttle for airport pickup and drop, which is very important for those who'd go under the stress of their busy schedules like me. Particularly if you are landing at night or dawn, you need to have a dependable means to get to the right place. Most of the Delhi taxi drivers are not good in English. Either they don't speak, or pretend that they don't speak.
