Pickup and drop service

Property is good. But reception guy didnot provide us with pickup and drop to Ban ganga. They just have one small car and he asked us to wait for 20-30 min or take an auto from outside. Also they dont have pickup from ban ganga after 9pm. Rooms are clean - breakfast is good.

1. The property is not 4 star in my humble opinion as was claimed at Booking.com. With this experience, I would have to take the star rating at booking.com with the pinch of salt in the future 2. We lost our key and we were not issued a new key. We were asked to get help from the hotel staff every time we had to get the door unlocked 3.. Wi-fi was patchy and the speed was very slow 4. The hotel staff could have been more polite. 5. The property looked old and in need of maintenance with visible wears and tears 6. Breakfast start time was 7:30. However they were not ready. It took 15 more minutes to provide them all the items. Some items were OK while other items could have been prepared better.

The location was good. It is in the midst of time with easy access to the key places to visit. This was the only thing in my experience that was good.

The bedsheets had stains and hair. We got them changed but the bedsheets continued to show stains, this was a big showdown, very unhygienic. We had to put towels and sleep over them. This we did not like at all as this doesn’t suit good hotel. standards.

The customer service was excellent, the staff was very supportive. The food buffet was great value for money.

The staff was highly helpful and accomodating to our needs. They allowed us to do early check-in, and also gave us a room upgrade without any request from our side. The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was Indian, not continental, but tasty. They have a big garden area, which we used to sit around and enjoy. Overall, it is a good hotel choice given the room price.

Only this was the shower and hot water facility. It would take ten minutes of running water before hot water available. Only downside is this waste of time and water.

Ambica has a very nice location and entrance. Beds were clean and comfortable. Big pillows and AC and fan. Floors were clean. Breakfast was delicious and staff were very hospitable. Beautiful garden for fresh air compared to road pollution. Lots of bottled water and drink selection. Towels on request. Spacious room 202. Helpful and friendly staff. Treating like a home for yatris.

It was a wonderful stay at Ambica. I booked this for my sister who was travelling alone. She was unwell and the staff made everything possible from late check out to sending medicine and fruits into the room. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

House keeping staffs are very rude. The taste of food at the hotel restaurant is average.

Rooms are small but new and clean. Hotel location is near the bus stand. There is small lawn and play area for kids at hotel backyard.

In a 3 star hotel it is expected that drinking water should be provided as much as needed, but that wasn't the case. The rooms were not properly scanned before check in.

It was very scenic and beautiful. The rooms were compact and cozy, the interiors are beautiful. There is great art in the lobby and backyard is also awesome.
