I struggled to change the AC temperature so the room was very cold. The room was dirty and the bed was covered in hair underneath the sheet. Towels smelt funny. The flip flops in the room had been well worn. The window in the room was loose and didn’t feel particularly safe as there was a staircase right next to it. The view out the window was not great.

It was in a good location. Working AC and a good breakfast. Free bottles of water supplied.

Excellent location! Close to Colaba Market, walking distance to all the landmarks, the Gateway of India, the Taj Palace, Leopold Cafe. Good price and professional staff. We'll come back.

- Excellent location. Most of the tourist places are near by. Gateway Of India is just walkable distance - Spacious room with very comfortable king size bed. Neat and clean. Large bathroom. My kids enjoyed a lot. - Additional single bed had been provided as needed. - Friendly and helpful staff - Good Indian Breakfast All in all, better than what you see on the website.

A little tired. No face towels only bath towels. Lacking tables for breakfast which means a wait or room service for breakfast.

Excellent location. Rooms very large with a bathroom. Clean and very comfortable king size bed with very comfortable pillows. Very little noise considering the hotel was in the heart of Colaba. Also a mini fridge!

Genuinely very friendly people working at this hotel. The room was clean and very spacious. The hotel was well positioned and has 24hr reception which we found useful both on arrival and departure. Recommendable.

Nayim and his colleagues gave us excellent service! Always so helpful and serviceminded. Nice suite with a shared balcony. Good breakfast is served. The Hotel is located next to Colaba Causeway and in walking distance from Gateway of India. Can highly recommend Ascot!

The patio was quite dirty and I couldn’t sit outside due to all the dust etc on the furniture.

It has a colonial old world atmosphere and the service from the staff was immaculate. My room was lovely and large, comfortable bed and patio with a view.

The hotel was pretty good so nothing stands out particularly. The restaurant is just off the reception area so lacks atmosphere and the dinner food was just ok (dinning staff were great).

This is a top location and for the money this was a great hotel. The room was huge, clean, quiet and nicely decorated (better than we expected). The bathroom was also a great size and the shower was great. Staff were friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was great, it was table service with staff offering more food if we wanted it. We really liked our stay here.
