Beware of the mischievous monkeys - but no worries they don‘t come in ;)

It is a fairly simple but clean little hotel. It‘s location is simply fantastic, just steps from the Ghats. The roof terrace has a panoramic view of the river, the food is also tasty. If you think that guests at the 5 star palace hotel next door pay 1000 usd for the same view staying at Bhadra Kali is a steal ;) The friendly and welcoming staff also deserves a special mention.

There is no vehicle access to the hotel because of its location in the old city. You have to walk through the busy streets with your luggage from the taxi. The hotel arranged to meet us and we travel light so it was not a problem for us but be aware.

Great location on the Ghat. It is a budget hotel so the rooms are old but it is comfy enough, the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff was great! Super friendly, attentive and very responsive. On my last day, they walked me to the street where you can get a taxi and helped me sort it out, as it was mayhem during Holy and very hard to get around. Top-notch service. The location is ideal : super close to some of the main ghats. Breakfast was good, served on the nice rooftop, which is caged-off from the monkeys : a must in Varanasi if you wanna relax. 👍 I highly recommend!

The room at the ground floor is very noisy, you can hear all the noises from the reception and the kitchen.

The rooftop and the location is perfect, just in the middle of all the important ghats.

There's no lift facility but Akashji was kind enough to organize my parents on first floor.

Akashji is very proactive, helps with all tour packages in and around Varanasi. Helped us with boat trip as well. The hotel is in a narrow laneway, cars do not go there but we hired a rickshaw to reach out you have to walk 10 mins as mentioned in the site. Balcony view is mesmerizing.

Small room and very basic bathroom, but hey the adjacent hotel has rooms at $1,000 a night, so the value was good.

The location is first rate. Literally on the main Ghat in town and located in an exciting maze of alleyways.

The shower get cold after couple of minutes, so just the first of us that takes shower got hot water, didn’t feel the blankets clean, was a weird smell and wasn’t enough, feels cold in the early morning.

The location is good because is close to the Ganges river and you can find a lot restaurants and walk easy. The staff was friendly

I thought the room was a bit smaller than the photos suggested but nothing other than that.

The room and bathroom were clean, the staff were very helpful in arranging a boat tour, a taxi and being ready to help however they could. The view from the roof was also brilliant.

It is perfectly located right above the ghats on the river. The staff were very helpful and friendly, meeting my taxi to guide me through the narrow streets to the hotel. The food was good and the roof terrace magical.

The staff is really helpful, kind and polite. The location is great, it’s right next to the ghat. However, when you first from the city and if you are new, you will get a little lost. The Google Map is not that helpful , as the guest house is located in the alleys. Contact the Guest House to guide you if you are in the city for the first time.
