The location is really cool, it is right next to the main ghat where you can enjoy Ganga Aarti. The main guy Tripathi ji was very helpful in terms of giving directions or any questions about travel in Banaras.

The bathroom would have been better if the toilet would have been near the entrance and the shower at the end. In fact we had to walk in water to go to the toilet after taking a shower.

Bhadra kali guest is kind of near to main Ghats and it’s on the ghat. view is amazing and beautiful. and the owner of this place is very kind and helpful. and those guys (Shivam and Shubham) who are working in this guest house are very nice.

Great location, right next to the main ghat (Dashashwamedh) with views of the river from the room and the roof. Quiet at night. The staff was very nice and incredibly helpful booking a boat ride for us in Varanasi and with bus tickets to our next location. They really went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience! The breakfast was also great.

It's very close to ghat, which is a perk. But if you are travelling with luggage then it's a tough task to reach the hotel.

Very narrow roads leading to the the guest house. Alternatively from Dashaashwedh ghat walk towards Munshi Ghat, you will reach faster. From Gaudiliya junction, its less than a km, if you have lots of luggage you will have to carry all the way to the guest house, since vehicles are not allowed inside, to this guest house. Guest house will arrange for a porter. Roads are always crowded towards Dashwamedh ghat.

Just on the banks on Ganga, closest being Munshi Ghat and Ahilyabhai Ghat. I was lucky to get a room with a view to the Ganga. From the roof top you can spend an entire day, with the vast Ganga. If the objective is to spend time on the Ganges, visit temples, then this is the place to be in. Its in the center, you can visit most of the temples within a vicinity of 2 kms. Kashi Vishwanath temple - gate is just 500 mtrs from the guest house.

The weather is extremely humid during Summer. If you're going in Sunmer make sure to get an AC room or you're going to sweat like you just took a bath.

The location of the guest house is close to the river. It's conveniently located close to Ganga Aarti and Vishwanath Temple.

The staff at "Badhra" Kali were excellent: very very friendly and attentive. Probably the nicest hotel staff we have met during 3 months in India! The breakfast was also great and the room very clean! The hotel is located in the old town, just a few steps away from the Ganga. Will visit again! Thank you.

CAREFUL! I traveled to Varanasi with my family and the receptionist of this accommodation scammed us. We had two double rooms for 3500 INR. Since one of them did not have air conditioning, they offered us an air-conditioned room for an additional 500 INR. After paying him 4000 INR he asked us for another 3500 INR. He didn't let us go back to the option without air conditioning or refund our money and go to another hotel. We ended up paying without calling the police because we had a guided tour booked and we didn't want to waste the day. I have read that the hotel owner is nice, but other people have also been scammed by the receptionist. I do not recommend it.

My recent stay at the Bhadra Kali Guest House, positioned perfectly at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi, during the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, was nothing short of extraordinary. The guest house staff exhibited a remarkable level of professionalism and warmth, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. This included a hassle-free check-in process, which was much appreciated after my journey. An added delight to the stay was the complimentary breakfast provided by the guest house. The AC in one of our rooms was running but rather heated than cooled the room. This made the stay rather uncomfortable. The attitude of the manager concerning this problem was very unprofessional. Again and again they kept telling us that in ten minutes the room would be cool. We are certain that they were aware of the problem beforehand, as they pressured us into checking in before demonstrating the AC. Then they cleaned the AC filters so that the dust got into the room... I could continue at this point. Very unpleasant. By the way, the location isn't for the faint hearted. Very close and smelly alleyways but as I said very close to the river.

Very clean rooms, friendly kitchen staff, hot water and showers worked, very kind to pick us up as we wouldn't have been able to find the caotic location ourselves. Very close to the Ganges.
