Hospitality, never experienced such a warm welcome at any of the hotels I've been to so far. Mr. Firdous was very welcoming right from the point when my booking was confirmed on the app to the last day of my stay at blooming dale. I never felt I was away from home.

The owner(Firdous) was really helpful. He gave us full of information and provided us with what we needed at a reasonable price. I could reach him anytime through WhatsApp, it also made me feel safe in Srinagar as my first visit. The staff(Mil and Zoff, sorry for the spelling!) were always available for us and took care of us very well...it made me feel like I was at home! The facility itself is very well maintained and the room was quite spacious. It's easy access from Gaht no.2 and there are many shops and restaurants within a short distance. Very homey and comfortable😃😃😃

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was gorgeous and plentiful. The garden was a haven for birds and a very peaceful area to relax in. The location was perfect for us walking distance to Dal Lake, shops, markets and restaurants. The local people were super friendly and helpful. The staff at Blooming Dale were incredible, we enjoyed chats with the owner Firdous and his family and Meera( sorry for spelling). They greeted us with Kashmiri tea and cakes a lovely welcome. When we were a little unwell they could not have been kinder or more helpful. Firdous arranged a day trip for us, took us shopping and even invited us to a family wedding!!!! We extended 3 times. Kashmir will stay in our hearts forever and a large reason for that is the people at Blooming Dale

IndiaThe hotel is at 2 minutes walk from Ghat No.2 of Dal Lake in Srinagar. We had a stay of 5 days here and felt like stay at our home. Shri. Firdous, owner of the property takes care of the guests like his own family guests. His advices will easily save 1000s of Rs. When one goes out for sightseeing and shopping in Kashmir. He himself arranged for cars for Gulmarg and Sonamarg visit at very nominal price. He himself takes us to the right shop for shopping. The breakfast is very tasty. Staff are very courteous. Yes it's a budget hotel so rooms and views are not luxurious but the care is definitely to the level of 7 star or like a family. Thanks Mr.Firdous and team. Enjoyed the stay.

The proprietor and the staff. Could not have asked for more than a caring and helpful team. From getting my SIM card to arranging for transport, they went all the way. You know you are cared for when he still texted to ask about your well-being when you have left. He even went that extra extra mile to top up my SIM card after I left for fear of me not able to contact home . This is out of his own pocket! A touching gesture. The location though secluded is a plus for me as it far away from the maddening traffic.

IndiaOur room was next to the main road, so the street noises gets quite loud at night. So, I would recommend to chose a room with the window facing the garden.
I loved the welcome Kahwah and the cookies, more than that I loved the Kashmiri tea cups! Firdous uncle was genuine and welcoming and he has a nice garden which is accessible whenever you want! We had breakfast and dinner as well and loved the food. Do avail the airport pick up, if he provides the facility. The rates are at par as the pre-paid taxi stand and it will be comfortable to locate the property. The property is just near to ghat no 2, so you can take a walk in the Boulevard road anytime without the hassle of hiring any auto. The room was comfortable and big with all the toiletries.

The rooms are comfortable and clean and the location is perfect for sightseeing Srinagar. The best thing was meeting with the owner who helped us a lot. Owner helped us organise trip to Gulmarg (in good price) and gave us a lot of usefull advices. His kind, genuine (!) and unintrusive(!) help is invaluable. If we come back to Srinagar, it's only to this hotel!

United StatesThe prices could be little lesser but I agree all tourist places have high prices. It isnt even very high. So nothing very problematic
The hospitality was top notch from the owner Mr.Firdous He suggested which places to be seen and even helped us with finding cab. Not just being the host he played a perfect guide. He was courteous checking over whatsapp on what was our preferences about food and navigated well in advance to the location. Double deluxe rooms were cosy and enough for a couple stay. Hot water was available.
