The property is one of the most beautifully done up palaces in India. It has been restored extremely well and feels like living in a palace. The rooms are comfortable and service is excellent. Location is unbeatable on one of the most beautiful ghats 15-20 min walking distance from Kashi Vishwanath temple. The complimentary boat service makes it very convenient to enjoy the old city. The kathak and music performance every evening is very good. The food is good but may not be spicy enough for Indians. A perfect stay in a perfect location.

The location is Darbhanga ghat having a river view, can travel on a boat from the hotel. Rooms have vintage palace types very beautiful rooms. Breakfast has a luxury variety to eat, good food with a health and diet plan menu.

This beautiful Brijrama hotel is located in the heart of Varanasi. the aas will have access to the exit to the Ghats and to the central streets. The attentive and impeccable staff of the hotel always anticipated my wishes and made my stay in Varanasi a fabulous trip.

Check in and check process must be improved. Transfer from and to Namo ghat to the hotel needs to be improved a lot. Both the sides I faced issues n inconvenience.

Price is too high for the amenities provided. Not happy with airport pick up and drop off charges. There are times we felt some smells in corridors and corners. The rugs in the room are dirty. The wifi is slow and sometimes didn’t even work. The information about what to expect while coming and during stay was missing.

Brijrama Palace is such a truly beautiful hotel. Situated right in the banks of the Ganges, it’s an experience that will stay with you forever! Your wonderful experience starts right from your arrival. You get picked up in their boat and get taken along the Ganges to their hotel. You then enter the hotel to what can only be described as mind blowing beautiful hotel. It’s an Indian palace that transcends you back to old heritage india. The ambience of the hotel matches its surroundings from the beautiful nightly traditional Indian dancing shows, to complimentary evening boat ride on the Ganges to see the prayers (arti) and shows. But best of all was waking up to the most serene, gentle sound of live traditional flute playing outside your door - it was just heaven! As for the views, it’s nothing but breathtaking whether its sunrise or sunset, your eyes and senses will be on overdrive. Last but not least, the restaurant prepared the most exquisite food, big compliments to their chefs! The hotel is unquestionably on the high end cost wise, but if you can afford it, I promise you won’t regret the experience.

It is an old palace that was reconstructed as an Hotel. View for the ganga, nice restaurant, staff really helpful. Afternoon tea was awesome. And relaxing live flute music every morning. I really recommend the experience !

Everything was perfect! They spoiled us with gifts and goodies. I was traveling with my mom (in her 70s), the hotel staff was super helpful and offered all assistance. Though a hard core non vegetarian I loved the vegetarian fare that the hotel had to offer!

- excellent location and atmosphere directly at the Ganges and next to the Dashashwamedh Ghat - hotel offers afternoon tea, evening boat ride to observe the Ganga Aarti in neigbouring ghat - I have also booked a morning boat ride, including stop at Assi Ghat for sunrise perfomance, and guided heritage walk through them. - great views from hotel terrace on the river - nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner (veg and no alcohol). - arrival to hotel is by boat, driver or taxi will take you to Namo Ghat close to Kashi bridge, where you meet hotel staff.

The room could be a bit brighter and some refurbishment -particularly in the bathroom- would help to justify the price.

The building itself is worth the stay, superb historical building in an absolutely top location. Staff very friendly, professional, committed and able to solve problems (or at least trying its best) Good restaurant with an excellent breakfast. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained.
