Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IndiaIt was pathetic experience, even after paying advance money for the room. The manager refused to give a room stating all rooms are booked and we can't give you the room. He said we have another property named vikrant residency. He took me there and gave the room. The bedsheet had ciggerate holes and was dirty as it was 400 500 rs room. They said we will give another room in 1 hour you settle here for 1 hour. And made me pay the amount. I paid the amount and they later didn't give me the room. So do not stay or book this property. Worst experience with bookings and fab hotel. Fab hotels should be delisted from bookings.com.

South Africa- Hotel is not marked with no signs. - I was transferred to another location as for some reason even with a booking they didn't have a room for me in the location I had initially booked. And they said it was due to maintenance.
The staff were accommodating and made an effort to try and assist for the most part.

IndiaRoom 1 was dirty and there was mud, manager claimed that some repair work had been done hence, Room 2 the sheets were torn, dirty and had cigarette burn holes in them. Room 3 was okay as there wasn't any option available. No Tub, no coffee tea maker in the room, the mineral water bottle was a fake one, luckily had bottle with me so managed, told the manager at night only that I will have eggs for breakfast, morning the chef asked me to wait for 10-15 minutes as he would get them for me. Booked the room because of the reviews but it all seems fake.

IndiaI paid 25% i.e 430/- advance booking to confirm my booking but I did not get any notification for payment of 430/-. I contacted to to the contact number which was provided on booking by Booking .com and I was told that sir, need not to worry U show ur payment transaction No. and they will manually update. But in hotel when I show they told, sir we can not manually update. U have to pay full charges. I paid full charges(1720/-). Neither 430/- I received back in my account. Disgusting part.
Breakfast was good but I did not get my choice as per menu card. Moreover I order(paid) for butter chicken in dinner but I got chicken masala. Although I did not tell about this to staff.
