The only problem we faced was locating the hotel on GPS... it showed a different location every time.

The hotel was clean and comfortable with all the basic facilities. The hostess Neel was extremely helpful and friendly which made us feel so much at home. She arranged for transportation whenever we needed it and suggested restaurants and places of interest.

It’s a great place with peaceful ambience (Kudos to Neel and Emily). With beach and restaurants nearby it was a great experience ! There’s an inhouse common kitchen too where you can make your own food ! Perfect getaway for a family !

There were frequent power cuts in the area, which meant that the air conditioning was not always available. However, the property had backup power to supply basic necessities.

I liked the fact that the beach was accessible, and the staff were quite friendly. They also had a good collection of books, games, and activities that made the stay enjoyable. The rooms were also pretty decent.

The stay was really comfortable and the best part about the stay was the staff/owner and its manager. Both of them will make you feel at ease and will do their best to accommodate your requests.

Would highly recommend Casa De Neel if you are planning to visit and stay in Auroville. The highlight of this place is its location in terms of close proximity to the beach as well as restaurants in the vicinity. The decor has been done beautifully with artwork and wall paintings. The rooms are located over 3 floors and are clean &well maintained. The host, Neel is very helpful and treats all guests as friends. She shared her suggestions for which all places to explore in Auroville, which cafés to visit, etc. Casa De Neel truly lives up to its name of ‘House of Neel’!

Casa De Neel is in a perfect location, close to Pondicherry down town and the white town and close to Auroville beach and the Auroville spiritual community. A short tuk tuk or motorbike rental is all you need to get everywhere. We loved Casa De Neel and Neel, the owner was so welcoming and kind. She helped us book future travel bus tickets and was very accommodating for our needs. We enjoyed the common space for games and art and Neel even ordered us complimentary breakfast our last morning before taking a bus to Chennai. We highly recommend this Homestay. It was also off the main road and much quieter than most places we have stayed in India.

It was an amazing experience though short stay.I was bit unwell n reached the property early than check in time with a thought that will rest in the lounge till check in time but the Owner Dear Neel (who now is a dear friend)offered a cozy room to rest till our room ready for check in,This sweet gesture is really appreciable 🙏🏻♥️.We shifted to other room as we were three n our stay was so comfortable that words can't express my gratitude 🙏🏻.I even prepared khichdi for myself as was avoiding outside food n this in house kitchen support was really mentionable.So this was like a second home in Puducherry.Thanks a lot dear Neel🙏🏻♥️.Will visit again to stay for longer duration.I strongly RECOMMEND this place for family stay n especially for solo girl travellers n for girl groups Its a safe,neat n clean place with an Amazing Owner n wonderful staff.

Best home stay.it's like a home ,haven't felt am far from my home .casa de neel's moto is so impressive you just come as a guest but definitely you will leave as a friend.you will never find a owner like her, oops not owner the friend neel😘.you will fall in love with the living room so much that you will have to plan your day to stay for sometime to live in the living room.

-The kitchen and the common shared fridge could have been cleaner. -I was travelling with my pet and there were naphthelene balls and potpourri in the room, which can be hazardous Please be mindful of the same going forward.

It is a quaint place just 20 mins from white town and 2 km from Serenity Beach. The rooms were clean and hygienic. The owner is very humble and sweet. In spite of the terrace patio being under renovation , the Ambience was lovely with a bonfire, good crowd and good music. The common room is vibrant with eclectic artefacts, board games, art supplies and books. You have the freedom to order in your own food or even cook if you want. The best part is that it is pet friendly. All in all it was a home away from home.

That our trip was short and we couldn't stay longer.

Oh where do i begin with this wonderful experience and the extra amazing host. Firstly the effort that's been poured in to the interior and the exterior of the place to make you feel like you're in Santorini. Then the energy this place has is very calming and artistic. And now about Neel, not very often we come across hosts like Neel, who makes you truly feel at home. She was kind enough to take care of all our needs and our safety since we were on our all girls trip. She's very hospitable. And lastly, yes it's true what they say, 'At Casa de Neel, you come as guests and leave as friends'. Definitely i'll be visiting again.
