Wonderful property to stay in, will recommend to friends.

The room was drafty, with gaps in the floor boards. A thick rug would have helped. There was no space heater in the sitting area, just in the bedroom. We could hear some sounds from the room below.

Wonderful location, facing the mountains. Our room had a great view though it was misty and cloudy most of the time. Fairly large room with a sitting area and plenty of windows to enjoy the view. The restaurant was great, plenty of tasty items during breakfast and dinner menu was good.

Professional & friendly staff, excellent view, homely hotel, delicious food. We liked how this hotel is on the hill away from the bust streets. Beautiful setting and comfortable beds. Perfect after a long Himalayan trek. We will stay here again.

Professional and friendly staff with top notch service. We felt at home staying at the Cedar Inn. It is a beautiful hotel. The location is great being up on the hill where it's quieter. The views were amazing. We even got to see Kanchenjunga at sunrise. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel, the food was delicious. They must have a good chef onsite. We will be recommending.

The incredible view of Kanchenjunga range of mountains. So fortunate. It took my breath away. Just sat gazing at it for almost an hour in the early morning, and from time to time throughout the first half of my day. Hehe!

    N/A - I loved the property.

The Cedar Inn was a beautiful property situated in the mountain town of Darjeeling. You will have a view of the Himalayas in any room you stay in. The staff were so kind and provided exceptional service. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area!

The room was a tad cold for us even with a heater which heated the top deck up nicely but left the lower deck rather chilly all day.

It’s location is perfect for those who want to dip in and out of Darjeeling center. Up on a hill, it provides amazing views of the valley when the weather is clear. The rooms are very spacious and the electric blankets are such a luxury in winter. The grounds are lovely with beautiful views and the staff are incredibly helpful, happy to assist us with our questions.

    Nothing specific

Excellent location at the hill top of Darjeeling. The rooms are extremely comfortable with wooden floors and roofs. You can view both valley and mountain range from room itself. The hotel being located at hilltop, you may not get anything to purchase so easily, though the hotel gives complimentary drop at downhill Bazar. I would advise you to carry with you the essential things that you may need during your stay.

Our stay at the cedar inn was phenomenal! The property is extremely beautiful, serene and so well maintained. The rooms have a gorgeous view of the mountains which made it that much more enjoyable. The hotel staff was very friendly and elevated the entire experience for us by making us feel very welcome! The restaurant was well stocked and catered all our meals. Their parathas were a staple for us for breakfasts. Overall the food was delicious ! Most definitely will go back again soon

The hotel was everything we could ask for - well appointed rooms, well maintained property, great grub and superlative service. Which was complemented by the gracious hospitality of Mr Nangia, the General Manager who went out of his way to make us feel wanted. We stayed there from 27th December to 2nd January and celebrated the new year in the hotel. The hotel is situated a bit away from the main town (and just below St. Pauls) - the road from town is steep and winding (may be too long an uphill walk except for very fit people) but the hotel provides complimentary transportation to and from town twice a day (though we did not avail of that facility since we had booked our own cars for the duration of our stay) The rooms that we stayed in were very good with a very decent sitting area. And unlike many hotels, there is space to keep 2 suitcases side by side. The view of Kanchenjunga from the rooms are stunning! The general decor is top notch and is designed to please the senses. Well worth staying!

The bed linen and towels. The hotel could most definitely do with some new bedding and towels. The shuttle service pick up times could be extended as 7.30pm is the last pick up, which is a bit early for those wanting to shop after a day of sightseeing.

The hotel has an old world charm. All of the staff were very welcoming and polite. The Christmas Eve and Christmas night bonfire and live singer was definitely a winner. The electric blankets in the beds was a nice touch to the cold. The bathrooms were clean and modern and the shuttle service to Mall Road made it accessible.

A little chilly and the dinner menu could be a little more imaginative…. Also the advertised bar was closed due to license renewal which was unfortunate over Christmas.

Amazing views, friendly and helpful staff, view from the rooms, the wonderful General Manager, Lovely breakfast and charming ambience and a peaceful retreat from the business of town.
