Nothing! The rooms are perhaps a little dated, and the buffet dinners are pricey for what they are, but overall the place has charm and character.

I arrived here as a last minute booking due to problems at another hotel in the area and really glad i moved. Staff are really great - always keen to help and to do so with a smile. Location is good being a little out of town but with amazing views. Whole place is very clean and well kept.

slightly far out from Munnar centre to get to other places/restaurants etc, but in some ways this can also be seen as a positive aswell as its quite away from the hustle and bustle and peaceful . If i had to be super critical, purely as this is a 5* hotel: Swimming pool was on the smaller side Gym was quite old and outdated equipment

I've stayed at many varieties of hotels, but this was sure was a proper 5* experience. The service was excellent. The location of the hotel in between tea plantations etc was really nice. The views on a hot day in Kerala from the room were second to none. Felt that this stay really made our stay in Kerala memorable. Breakfast was also high quality which good range of food and flawless service from waiters.

The only very minor thing was it was a little difficult to be sure items were vegan friendly however this is an India wide issue and not specific to this hotel

Recently spent 4 nights at Windy Woods and it was absolutely amazing. The staff are incredibly attentive, nothing is too much. The Cricket World Cup final was on and they went out of their way to make it a great day (despite the result). We had 2 rooms during the stay, a superior deluxe which had a great view and then moved to a family deluxe which was much larger and the bathroom was a touch fancier but less of a view. Breakfasts were excellent with a huge range of foods + made to order items.

Reception staff needs to do more efforts regarding customer queries and provide more assistance and details especially regarding outdoor activities.

Staff very professional and caring about every small details especially restaurant staff appreciated all their efforts to make our kids satisfied with the food. We have been upgraded for free and room got a nice mountain view. We strongly advise this resort.
