Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IndiaThe approach path to new rooms were not paved. Shoes and sandals were getting muddy as you come out and go into rooms. It rains almost every day. Lights in the approach path can be improved.
Loved the location of property. It's in the middle of the coffee plantation. Hosts were very genuine and generous. Staff were polite and provide prompt service. Food was very good and were cooked nicely. They had gas heated water for bathroom when electricity was not available. All rooms had UPS power backup for lights fan and TV. Loved the bonfire every evening. Felt nice to sit around bonfire during colder evenings.

IndiaThis stay really exceeded our expectations. Excellent place to stay inside deep forest, completely green around, full with oxygen to boost your energy. Food prepared by host is also delicious and at night nice bonfire was arranged with mouth-lickering starters. This place is little far from locality, but that's exactly what we want. If you want to stay far, relax and just enjoy the nature with nice food and cup of coffee, we strongly recommend to choose this place. Host Raashika and her husband are extremely good, polite and caring, we enjoyed every bit of our stay amidst the coffee county.

IndiaAccessibility is a bit of a problem for an aged crowd or for those who may have problems climbing up and down uneven terrain. Even access into the cottages may be problematic for such people.
I had gone to CCH with my parents. Since they were old, walking up and down to the dining hall was tiresome. So CCH made sure to deliver our meals at our cottage. Their Man Friday Ashok was just a helping hand away catering to our every need. Personal touches like these made our visit worthwhile.
