Housekeeping staff needs training. Power cuts are frequent but reliable back up makes up for it. It’d be great if one regular power outlet had power back up too, preferably close to the bed, thanks!

Good location, facing the lake, close to Boulevard Road. Big windows, lots of light and air, you will see Shikaras floating by regularly. Regular water supply including hot water, big geyser. Tons of complimentary welcome kit items. Power back up for fan, lights, and USB charging. Small shops nearby including a fresh Kashmiri bread shop. Outstanding food, it doesn’t get better, makes it a homestay experience!

Nothing to complain.

Everything we just loved in Crescent from the process of Check In till Check Out. It's located in a heart of touristic hub of Srinagar that's nearby to everything whether it's Restaurants or Cafe Shops. Hotel has got a nice reception ladded with flowers in pots. Room has got everything including all beverages wether it's Water Bottles ,Tea or Coffee sachets. Host organised our Shikara trip in Dal Lake which was the best to do thing in Srinagar. We chose their within Cab Service too,that was totally worthy for what we paid. Taste of food was great. Staff is professional and friendly,they were always on their toes to help us.

We couldn’t stay here more so that we could had seen Clear Blue Skies after Snow Fall.

We had a comfortable stay in the awesome spectacular uninterrupted snowfall. The owner’s hospitality was outstanding, adding a personal touch to the experience. The rooms in Hotel Crescent were tidy and shiny, but also cozy, making it a comfortable retreat. The service provided was top-notch, catering to every need promptly and attentively. Reception in the downstairs was aesthetic and warm while having AC facility for the guests who wanna sit and relax in it too. Served food was a delight, offering a delicious taste of the local cuisine. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the warm ambiance, impeccable service, and delightful culinary offerings during my stay. I just loved the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Only thing was we have to walk a little through the dal gate walk way , if you like to walk a little, its too good to watch scenic beauty of dal lake and life of local kasmiris

First is the exceptional view from the hotel room on winters. We came for a 5N 4D kashmir trip and we just planned to try Hotel Cresent for the first 1N stay. Started with shikara ride to hotel, while reached Dal gate ghat No 1, After experiencing the exceptional service from hotel staff and the cleaniness, we fixed to go ahead with the hotel cresent for whole stay in kashmir. Our First time in Indian hotel visits, we experienced the hotel staff was one or two seconds away from replying to our needs while staying there. (Exceptional) Worth for the money in kashmir : No doubt Room Heater facilities were so comfortable and they provided Electric blankets which were very essential if you are coming in winters. Initially, I had reserved the room for only one day with the intention of physically inspecting and booking another hotel for the remaining three days. Despite the hotel not boasting extravagant aesthetics, the warmth, cooperation, and genuine hospitality extended by the owner, Sameer Yousuf, compelled me to prolong my stay for the entire four days. I explored Gulmarg, Sonamarg, and Pahalgam during my travels, all while staying in Srinagar with well-organized travel arrangements facilitated by the hotel owner. Situated right next to Dal Lake, this hotel's only drawback is its location on a pedestrian road, inaccessible to large vehicles. A three-minute walk from the ghat is necessary, or alternatively, one can always opt for the delightful experience of using the "Shikara," a special boat on Dal Lake, from ghat 1 directly to the hotel door.

Can’t complain anything about.

Crescent is a hidden gem located just on a bank of Dal Lake.Majestic and heart mesmerising views are from the property, you are greeted with the most warm and welcoming host at their reception. We stepped on Boulevard Ghat No.1, their staff was waiting for us while providing us a great experience in their free shutter service (SHIKARA) till Hotel Crescent.We were were welcomed at reception with Cappuccino, Tea and tasty Walnut Cakes.The view from the room took us into a different world! The bed attached with Electric Blankets plus electric heater in room kept us all the time warm. It was my almost third visit in this property. I have turned into their regular guest for sure. The owners have put their hearts into making this home stay an unforgettable experience for tourists like us for anyone who wants to experience luxury, comfort, lip smacking Kashmiri cuisine and wants to connect with the lives of Kashmiri people, must visit Crescent. Highly Recommended!

The location is great. The hotel organized my taxis from and to the airport. They also suggested and arranged a Shakara 2 hour boat trip. It's git views to the waterway in front of the hotel where you can board the boat. There is an easy 5 minute walk to the "boulevard" with shops and restaurants.

Nice location. A good service was provided to us. 2 star hotel facilities almost. I believed in reviews and choose this HOTEL to stay,really happy with the decision I took. Tasty Food at reasonable prices. Cab service for local SIGHTSEEING was also worth for the price we paid. Shikara ride was also nice,it refreshed us after such a huge hectic day. The electricity often cut off, it made us so cool in winter season, so we didn’t sleep well at night.

I choose this place because of good rating and a highly recommended reviews. The best part of the stay was HOST came himself to pick me up from the AIRPORT. As soon as I checked in the property (Welcome Tea was provided to me A TRADITIONAL KASHMIRI SAFFRON KEHWA) that was hot and much needed in that freezy climate. I booked a KINGROOM with Lake and a mountain view,it was more than expected and the price that I paid for. The service that they render is excellent. All the time TEAM CRESCENT was very attentive to all the needs and demands. They organised CAB for all the LOCAL SIGHTSEEING in KASHMIR. I had very good memories of the tour that I booked with them. I highly recommend this HOTEL to everyone here who are willing to experience the real KASHMIR.

Hotel is well maintained. In this chilly bone freezing winter,good heating facilities were provided. All I can say is that HEATING ARRANGEMENTS were very supportive. Rooms were clean,spacious and washroom is equipped will all the amenities with 24/7 running hot water. Shikara rides and the local sightseeings provided from the Host were amazing,they assisted us in getting a good deal. In Food we tried WAAZWAN TRAAMI it was so delicious 🤤 The hospitality of the HOST is Awesome. I am highly astonished that I booked this Hotel from the CHECK IN till CHECKOUT,everything went well.

We stayed in an Awesome King Room with a tidy space! In this Harsh Winter of Kashmir they have kept Electric blankets and Heaters to keep the rooms properly warm! Hot Water was 24/7 available in the Washroom. We hired a CAB from the HOTEL 🏨 A Premium Cab was provided to us within a HOTEL with a nice and well mannered driver. He drove us to the local sightseeing places. WiFi was pretty fast. Food was also awesome. Loved my stay there. Thanks to the Staff of Crescent for hosting us.
