The location is slightly difficult to reach

Has an old time charm, the hosts were very friendly, Manu even dropped me off to the bus station. The dinner was also very delicious.

Clean, comfortable, great get- away- from- everything location. The best staff! Meals on-site were delicious, too, and there's a hammock and a dog. It's not a vibing backpacker hostel, but I really enjoyed my stay here

1. The location was a bit tricky to reach initially. The host will guide you, just follow their instructions. Also better to have your own vehicle. 2. Walls are thin I guess, I could overhear music and talk from the adjacent room. 3. The room was somewhat small, but it was shown similar in pic I guess, I realised this later. 4. The storage/cupboard was not there in the room.

1. Great Hosts. Abhishek really helped me a lot in terms of where and how to go to various places. Also, thanks for those conversations where we talked, fought, learnt and bonded. 2. Awesome food. Kerala is famous for its food, and I didn't have to go anywhere to search for local flavours. Everyday, Sundar used to prepare those delectable meals for everyone. Honestly I was skeptical about the taste initially, but just one bite changed my mind. Also, the pricing is very very reasonable. 3. Center of I think it is quite equidistant from all waynaad attractions, so yeah perfect for your waynaad sightseeing trip. 4. Peaceful environment. Most of the waynaad is peaceful, and Crossroads did complete justice to it. Surrounded by greenery (trees, shrubs and farms). Very few houses nearby, so not much external noise. You can just sit and enjoy the solitude, especially mornings are so calming. 5. Lot of open spaces. Unlike most hostel, where they try to fit a lot of rooms to accommodate more people, here there are more open spaces. You can bask in the sunlight, even enjoy the rains. Common area is shaded though. So, whatever your poison, you are bound to enjoy here. 6. They have hot water and a washing machine available too, so that problem is sorted too.

I had the perfect stay at crossroads, amazing vibe and the setting was perfect. Can easily hire a bike if u want to explore Wayanad or sit back a relax, really felt like i was home. I could of easily stayed for weeks even after extending my stay. Hospitality was so nice and the food served by the chef was amazing with huge portions and with little cost. Oh and theres a dog that will follow u around if u feed him biscuits 😃 see u soon guys!

The bathroom facilities can be improved especially during rains

The owner was super accommodative and even made dinner for our group (4 people). The location was unbelievably beautiful, had parking and was comfortable.

We were doing a road trip around the south with 10 people. We were fortunate enough to find the best stay in Wayanad through Booking. We liked the hospitality of the host Afla. Who took care of us like their own people. The stay was so peaceful as we were craving for. It was clean, fresh and so mesmerizing. We happened to meet a few bagpackers as well. It was such a heartful experience to meet new people and discuss each other's experiences. Overall, I would suggest anyone who is planning to wayanad should give it a try to Crossroads Hostel.

Loved the place

Crossroads Hostel 1957 was such a welcoming place to arrive at. Aflah really took care of me on arrival as I was exhausted from a long journey from Kochi and Kozhikode. My room was upgraded and Sundar promptly made me a delicious lunch. In fact Sundar was a master in the kitchen, and all meals are prepared for guests. It is a very chill place to visit, grab a bike or pick a book to read enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Oh and Trance the dog will adopt you immediately, he is so gorgeous.

Great hostel! The balance between a social hostel and relaxing stay happens right here. The owner is a legend and super helpful. The hostel also cooks breakfast, lunch, and dinner at a very fair price. Enjoyed my stay very much and would highly recommend!!

It was not as remote as I’d hoped, so you need to travel quite a bit further to get close to any raw nature.

Secluded, restored farm house with minimal approach. Very cute private room. Very good food, hosts very welcoming and amenable.

He's a true embodiment of the word 'friendly.' With his infectious smile and genuine enthusiasm, Abhi goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcome and comfortable. The hostel itself is a delight to the eyes and senses. Its rustic charm and unique blend of modern and traditional elements create a cozy and inviting ambiance. The dorm rooms are clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable space to rest after a day of adventure. And if you're seeking some alone time, the common areas provide a perfect sanctuary to relax, socialize, or even indulge in a good book. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible sense of community fostered at Crossroads 1957. It's a place where travelers from all walks of life come together, sharing stories and creating lasting memories. In terms of location, Crossroads 1957 couldn't be better situated. It is surrounded by nature and farms.

And i can not miss mentioning the cook Mr. Sundar and his food...delicious and the price charged was well balanced and i would strongly recommend this place for a worry free peace wonderful hostel stay.

Lights inside rooms are bit stressful to the eyes.. May be changing to a warmer light or changing location of lights.

Great job Abhishek in maintaining such a beautiful and peaceful place in Wayanad! Mr.Sundar is worth mentioning as a right hand fr Mr. Abhishek. This was my 4th ride to wayanad and very first to Crossroads! I loved staying there and will definitely be in the top list for my future rides..!!
