Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ThailandMy stay at Divine Palace Hotel was nothing short of magical. Tucked away amidst the serene fields of Pushkar, this charming retreat offered a welcome respite from the choatic city life. The location alone is reason enough to book a stay here. Waking up to the sight of verdant fields stretching out as far as the eye can see was a delight for the senses... oracticing yoga on the panoramic terrace as the first rays of sunlight dance across the horizon. But it's not just about the views – the comfort and convenience provided by the hotel were top-notch. The AC worked like a charm, offering relief from the desert heat, and the rooms were quiet. What truly sets Divine Palace Hotel apart, however, is the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with smiles and made to feel like part of the family. Whether I needed recommendations for exploring Pushkar or simply wanted to chat — so great for a solo traveller too All in all, my experience at Divine Palace Hotel was nothing short of wonderful. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of Pushkar, look no further. I can't wait to return and soak in more of the tranquility and beauty that this hidden gem has to offer

GermanyThis is the place to be while staying in Pushkar. Just a little outside of the City, lies this beautiful divine Palace. The view from the balcony and the rooftop is super beautiful and calming, waking up, drinking a coffee and watching the birds and the workers on the rosefarms, is the start to a perfect day. The bed is the most comfortable I've had on my whole India trip, the AC works perfectly and the bathroom is clean and functional. The Owner Rajesh is an amazing guy. He really wants you to have the best experience at his Hotel and is always fun to talk to. His son and wife are amazing peope and chef's as well. Highly recommend trying their food and chai. I love coming home from the busy city and being gretting by the calmness and their beautiful dog. I really have nothing bad to say and originally booked two nights, and have been staying here for over 2 weeks already. My favorite place to stay in India, for sure.

United KingdomNothing, it was all great.
The location is absolutely beautiful. It’s set just a 10/15 min walk outside of Pushkar town down a quiet, peaceful street. The views of the surrounding mountains and farms from the rooftop and balcony are simply stunning. This was definitely the peaceful break we needed while travelling India. The bed was huge, the bathroom was clean, and the balcony was one of the best we’ve had. Our host was really friendly, helpful and chatty, and made our stay really comfortable. We would have stayed longer if we had the time.

GermanyWe stayed 4 nights and could definitely have stayed longer. We liked the stunning views and the location as it's a bit out of town. But it's only a 15-20 minute walk to the lake and all the restaurants. It was perfect for us! Our room was very large and had a large balcony which we really liked. The bed was very comfortable. We had air conditioning and a fan which worked well. The owner is very friendly and always there to chat with us. One night we had the chance to join his friends for dinner and the food was one of the best we have ever had in India! And a big plus for me was that they provide (yoga) mats. There's nothing like starting the day with yoga and this beautiful scenery 😍

Fabulous hosts who could not do enough for us. Huge room and balcony with fabulous view over hills and countryside. Beautiful sunset. Hot water available all day. A little way out of town - easy 15 minute walk - but the fresh air was what we needed after dusty Indian cities

AustriaLovely host family, very attentative, did anything to make our stay an absolutely pleasant one. Clean, spacious rooms, large balcony, great view to the neighbouring fields and to a temple situated on a hill. We very much enjoyed the rural feeling. You hear nothing but birds, sometines sprinklers of the adjourning fields or music from a temple. The dinners - always FRESHLY prepared by the son of the owner were a real treat!!! Although Divine Palace is located in a rural area you can reach the center in a 15 minutes walk. Thanks so much to all your family for the great time we spent at your place!!!

IsraelProbably many years ago this was a very quiet place. Now, unfortunately, everything around is being built up with hotels and private houses. We were there for the New Year holidays and therefore we could hear the music of parties and discos around us. On New Year's Eve itself it was very noisy, in a hotel near were brought speakers and spotlights right next to us and had a party, so we rented a room for one night in an expensive hotel in the center, where it was much quieter. Pushkar itself is a holy city and there are restrictions on parties. On other days, the music stopped at 11 p.m. or at most 00. But since this is not the hotel’s fault, I did not reduce the rating for this. Moreover, when we left on January 4, music could only be heard from one hotel and from afar. I think on other days it's very quiet.
clean not only in the rooms and common areas, but even on the roof top. The hotel is a two-story building, on the ground floor and on the 1st floor there are rooms on the roof you can comfortably spend time or do yoga with a good view. The house is located outskirt the city, a 20-minute walk from Market Street. All rooms are on the 1st floor with balconies with excellent views of the fields and mountains. There are a lot of birds around and it’s nice to wake up to their singing in the morning. The hotel is run by a family, nice people who try to keep the hotel clean and respond to all requests. There is also a wonderful security guard who works there - a cute dog.

United KingdomThe rooms were spacious and bright. The view from the property and rooftop was beautiful. The food from the kitchen was tasty. The manager was really lovely, helpful and accommodating. He even picked us up on his bike every night, so we didn’t have to walk home or get a tuk tuk. The staff were lovely and friendly. The location of the hotel was great with the countryside around it, so it felt very peaceful.

In the countryside-our balcony overlooked green fields. Enjoyed the 25 minute walk into town but Rajesh will organise transport if you want. For us was good to get away from the traffic of town and wake up to birds singing. There is no restaurant but Rajesh’s son can organise basics. It has a huge roof terrace with great views.
