The rooms are small. Our room was supposed to have a ‘view’ but all we had was a building next to us. Their payment policy on Booking does not reflect that they expect 50% payment in advance. But they do and they contact you for the same.

We stayed for three nights. The hotel has a very nice decor. The lobby and the lounge are spacious and beautiful. The hotel is also clean. It’s a pure veg hotel ( no eggs either) and the breakfast has lots of options. It’s very close to Saheliyon ki Bari and decently close to Fatehsagar Lake. It’s in the new part of Udaipur so a lot of the main attractions are very far away from the hotel; but on the plus side, it’s quieter.

It was an amazing stay at Kaner Bagh. Loved the modern-old school vibe. It was a luxury in budget. Love the courtyard and swimming pool arena, and the dining setup.

Staff need to learn some English

This hotel is a bijou. It’s a family run place. It’s been their home for generations. They are a most charming and interesting family who are bladesmiths. ( arms makers) Their house is full of lovely objects and every floor is of marble.The family are around for chats, travel or outing arrangements or ideas about what to eat. It’s a very warm atmosphere and I chose it because it was in the smart suburbs of udaipur, within walking distance of the lake which is lovely to walk around early in the morning with other walkers. They have a very smart pool . It’s very reasonable so you could come here for all the winter -your own marigold hotel arrangement. ( I’m an oldie in case you hadn’t guessed….. ) rather pay the family than heating bills in Europe. Rooms were interestingly decorated large and come with tea/ coffee making paraphernalia . Udaipur is charming and a soft introduction to India for first timers.There’s a palace everywhere you look and of course the old town and lake where the locals don’t hassle you as In other places in rajasthan.

Not even one single thing i wouldn't like!!!

It wasn't my first time at Hotel kaner bagh, in fact i stayed there back in 2019 that time hotel was in course of some renovation work, still I loved it!!!! This time it was even better All new in white and black marbles, lovely and clean rooms. Awesome cortyad and restaurant with delicious foods!!!!!! And - above all frendly and helpful staff. I would give 20 stars iut of 10!!!!

What a fabulous location in Udaipur. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities you required. We stayed as part of a tour but thoroughly enjoyed our time. the meals were all perfect with plentiful choices for breakfast and lunch. Specially Smoked paneer chilli and Mashroom Galouti kebab

Very well-maintained hotel with excellent and hygienic food selection. The staff are extremely polite and take care of all your needs. Special shout out to Mr. BALARAM from the restaurant who personally looks after the needs of all customers. Must try their in House Rose Petals ice-cream.

The service and food was very good and the staff here are so well behaved will love to be here everytime visit udaipur definitely best place to stay in udaipur. The staff, especially at night, is extremely rude. They have issues when we buy food from outside since they call us on an extension and ask us to deliver it to other rooms. When I asked the reception the same guy who called me to clean the room or get the plates for the food we ordered from the hotel, he didn't respond for an hour, so we had to clean our room and put the plates outside so that when they arrived, they could take them from outside. The morning crew was helpful.

Our guests said the toilets were terrible, the place was not clean they had no facilities had to keep asking for everything. Not worth that much money for sure !

Rooms are not that great but good enough if you can get it for cheap.

The property is a bit contradictory, some parts are really fine while others leave a lot to be desired. Common spaces are generally good but the rooms are pretty basic.

Washrooms were pretty old and not seemed very clean. Late night parties in the hotel were disturbing. My room was next to reception counter that was pathetic.

Good location. Staff helped to load and unload the luggage. Restaurant inside the hotel was very expensive.

The hotel.was very well maintained a d the family who owns is always available for any support. Very nice and polite staff. Food is amazing. Mr. Hitesh at reception is exceptionally polite and helpful and same is entire staff. Strongly recommend.

Poor room service, took 1 hour for morning tea after the order. no focus on daily room cleaning, bathroom flush was not proper, geyser size was small. No toilet kit in bathroom, towels were not good. TV was not working. Late night party noise from restaurant coming to room. Not value for money

The property was previously named as Dream Palace and now they have changed it to Kaner Bagh. I must say the property is a combination of heritage and modern both. The rooms and reception area will give you the heritage feel and restaurant will give you modern feel. They have made a whole new restaurant and swimming pool. Just have at least one meal at their restaurant I am 100% sure you will love the ambiance and food both. Bhatti ka paneer and laccha paratha were out of the world. Location of the property is just awesome as you will get everything on 3 to 4 mins walk. Amazing experience.
