Excellent location with a dreamy rooftop to enjoy free sunset chai. The staff were super friendly and knew everyone by name. The room was clean and tidy with adequate AC. The sunrise tour was a highlight.

I liked the property. Rooms were clean and rooftop is amazing. Hostel is near Lake Pichola, City Palace, Bagore ki Haveli, Jagdish Temple and Gangaur Ghat.

I stayed here for a week and could have stayed much longer. I felt at home in Dreamyard. People are friendly, food is great. Rooms are clean, and the rooftop is just amazing. I will definitely be back. Thanks!

Great hostel in a really good location. Nice to watch the sunset on the roof with other travellers. Comfortable dorm with AC. Nice common area. Easy to find space to chill by yourself or be sociable.

Lovely hostel run by a great team. The place has lots of different areas to hang out so you can meet people or do your own thing, as well as female only dorms. The roof has gorgeous lake views and they have a great breakfast menu. I went on a sunrise scooter trip to go up a hill and see a lake and had a great time, I don’t drive so they went out of their way to make sure there were enough drivers to take me and my friends. Would definitely come back.

The views from each floor especially the sunset view from the terrace are the highlights of this property. The vibe and ambience in the common areas is beautiful without compromising on cleanliness. The sunrise tour organised by Varis and team is a must visit.

Absolutely nothing

The hotel has a wonderful terrace, with great view on the lake, especially at sunset (when they offer free chai)! The room was small but clean, and wasn’t particularly hot despite lacking the AC. The staff was very kind to us and helpful, and gave us lots of suggestions!

Everything. The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived we were treated as friends, Nikita especially is the heart and soul of the place and I can’t wait to go back. We spent holi here and everything was well organised and all the staff ensured we were included in all the celebrations and that we had a great time

In booking.com, it's mentioned that room has tv, which was not the case and hair dryer, water bottle which were not present. There was a unit for water from which one could fill water.

The location of the property in the old city was convenient to visit many places by walk. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful. The hostel arranged a sunrise trip which was good.

The room provided was good, although having only one fan was insufficient for comfort during hot weather. It would be beneficial for each dorm bed to have separate small wall fans to improve ventilation. The AC worked decently but struggled during extreme heat.

Overall, my stay at the dreamyard hostel in Udaipur was pleasant. The food, ambience, staff, and location were excellent, contributing positively to the overall experience.

We stayed here during Holi and it was awesome! The staff took us on a walking tour / shopping trip to get Holi clothes and paint, and walked the group around to see all the different Holi celebration areas. They also had their own rooftop Holi party all day. This hostel is in a great location in Old Town Udaipur -- easy to walk to the lake, city palace, restaurants, and shops. They hostel has great areas to hangout on the balconies and rooftops, games to play, and a rooftop restaurant. They offer a sunrise scooter tour (700inr) and a free chai tea on the rooftop every night. Everyone is so kind there!

A really awesome hostel. Rooms are clean and beds have curtains and lockers. The views from every level of the building are beautiful. The cafe and rooftop are great places to chill - don’t miss out on the free sunset chai! Staff are helpful and friendly.

Bathroom had a strong drain/sewer smell, mostly remedied by running the fan 24/7. Door was locked when we went to leave early in the morning, so had to wake a staff member to get out.

Amazing location close to everything with great views and really nice rooftop terrace. Good food. Beautiful room. Enjoyed our stay, would stay again.
