Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe room was not cleaned properly. The towel was still from previous occupant, spillages all over the wall had not been cleaned. Floor was dirty and I found a big cockroach. Also, there was constant noise late into the night from staff having conversations right outside my room and the room’s only window led to the hallway (which was always lit). In addition, there was some kind of bright night light in the room which I had to cover up as it was blindingly bright! Sleeping there was near impossible. However, the staff did replace the towel and clean the wall for me. Overall, I would say more attentive cleaning needs to be done.
