Since I had booked 5 months in advance it would have been appreciated if ground floor rooms were allocated for us 3 seniors. We were on the 2nd floor and it was painful going up & down steps which had polished granite! Bit risky.

My second time at the Hotel - it is walking distance to Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh & Partition Museum. Luckily the hotel driver had come to pick us up from the airport. Getting to the hotel was a challenge as the roads to Golden Temple/hotel were closed because of Baisakhi & he used the narrow by lanes to get us to the hotel! We also had the same driver for Wagah Border who suggested we leave the hotel at 3pm!

Due to proximity to temple, the roads get blocked for entry of vehicles (private taxis and innovas )…one can reach there only in smaller rickshaws on days when the golden temple is very crowded (weekends)

Not many are aware of the location of the Hotel and had hard time explaining the auto / tuk tuk on the landmark.

Hot shower was not really hot it was a bit warm though.

Easy walk distance to Golden Temple and Town Hall. Room was spacious and clean.

If you are looking for a quite secluded location this may not be ideal. But if you want to have easy access to the Golden temple, shops and want to soak in the atmosphere, this is ideal.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. To name a few, Lucky and Kiran the manager and front desk, Sandeep the driver and Govind at breakfast. The breakfast options were excellent and we were able to order dinner if required. As we got the terrace rooms we also took advantage of the open area in the terrace. Location is 5 mins walk to Golden temple and other major sites. The hotel have their own cars and drivers so very easy to arrange tours. Some renovation work was taking place but did not affect our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The bed was just a little too short for me but this wasn't an issue and a little chilly, but I could have asked how to make it warmer

Lucky and Mr Singh were excellent members of staff. Lucky took the time to help me with my WiFi issue and arranged a taxi for me for 6.30am to help me get to the bus stop and was very attentive to my needs. Mr Singh drove me to and from the Waggah Border ceremony and was very good in ensuring I knew where to go and meet him after and also offered me tea and took me to see the last train station in India The hotel does offer breakfast from a menu or a simple buffet affair. The room was modern and well equipped with good WiFi speed and a comfortable bed, although at 6 feet tall, it was a little bit small for me but not a major issue. The hotel is only a 7 minute walk from the Golden Temple and Partition museum I would recommend this hotel

It's in tiny lanes where some big cars like Innova etc refuse to come. So we needed to take a rickshaw or walk till the main point where cars come

Decent breakfast. Location is 5 mins from the Golden Temple. Beds were big and very comfortable. Staff was very courteous and helpful with all out needs. Great value hotel.

There is still construction work being done so might have some noise at times. They are also in the midst of installing a lift which will be useful in the future

Had a pleasant stay at Exotic Hotel with my family young child and elderly. Room was really clean, bathroom spacious and clean. Hot water and good breakfast. The staff was thoughtful and told us to just rest and go to bed and can do the check in procedures the next day as we arrived quite late at midnight. This hotel is situated in a lane where there is no crowd and it's so peaceful, a really short walk to golden temple. The team really took care of us well.

Lift construction is in progress. Once it’s done it will be ok. Streets coming towards the hotel is very narrow.

It’s small family owned hotel. You get personal attention. Very good location, very helpful , humble & polite staff. Even the owner is very cheerful. Will definitely come again

Unfortunately, there was building work being carried , which meant that the building was subject to the open air. Being that it was January the weather was cold and therefore the hotel was!! The hotel will be super when the work is finished.

The staff were helpful. The rooms were a good size. The location was excellent. The hotel facilitated our tourist trips and pick ups. All very reasonably priced.
