The breakfast room was very dingy and depressing and the menu was limited.

Despite mixed reviews, as a solo traveller needing a place to stay for 2 nights while visiting Mumbai, my experience was positive. My room on the 6th floor was fine, the bed actually very comfortable - pleasant enough to enjoy a rest in the afternoon as well as a night's sleep - just don't expect it to look like the photos. The staff were stern but very efficient and were always available in the lobby, which gave a sense of security when stepping in or out into the street. Well located for the central train station. Not convinced it was particularly good value overall, but you could do a lot worse in terms of quality. Great restaurant next door (Ustaadi).

The bathroom smelled strongly of urine after flushing, not sure if this was a plumbing issue as the room was cleaned daily. The bed sheets though clean, were well worn and could use a refresh. The exterior of the hotel and corridors leading to the rooms could use an update as they don't reflect the standard of the rooms themselves.

The room was a good size and the attached restaurant was a good option for breakfast. The the air conditioning was great. We were offered an option of two different rooms on arrival which was nice. Good WiFi.

Could do with some TLC, especially corridors and public spaces. Not the most glamorous place to stay but clean enough for the price point.

Location is great. Very close to Crawford Market and short walks/taxi journey to most major attractions. Staff were quiet but professional and always polite.

Room Rate charged high to be, because i have went through booking.com

Booking .com has charged high price compare to original price charged by property. Booking .com charges 4470 with out breakfast, where as property has offered same room to others for 3300 including tax

Room walls very dirty, need repainting. Shower not the cleanest. Hotel corridors are grim.

Close to Mumbai CST Station so very convenient for our early train out. 10 min walk max from Suburban line P1, just go over the footbridge, turn right & keep going for 300 yds Hotel is on Right. A/C & shower worked well.

During booking it was mentioned that breakfast is available at property for 100 INR each where as they demanded 250 INR each. Linens were changed everyday, but the pillows from inside weren't clean or new, were used from a long time without washing.

We stayed for 13 days in the Hotel. Overall stay was hassle free. easy check in and check out, the property is cleaner than others. staff was helpful. Beds are comfortable and linens were changed everyday, In room dining has very good masala tea and food from the Famous Ustaadi Restaurant next door.

It's been said before, but it's not actually called Crawford Inn, the sign says Hotel New Bengal, which is confusing. The restaurant was behind a series of locked doors & dark corridors, felt a bit shady, the air was thick with shisha / hookah smoke, I was encouraged to order from my room and so I passed as there was no table & chair in the bedroom. I found the reception staff to be somewhat abrasive and not that friendly.

Comfy beds, clean room, great location to walk across to the station (CSTM), safety deposit box.

Building looks very old from outside, there is no car parking and others who owns the front road doesn't allow other cars to even drop their clients.

The hotel is correctly located, not far from the train station (you can walk to the station). They were really kind to keep our luggage the day we left, and they have toilets and showers for when you come back to get your luggages (that was really helpful because we took the train right after).

it was ok for me but the noise from the station/trains might affect your sleep.

i arrived in Mumbai after midnight, so this hotel was an ideal location for the station- I walked there in 10-15 mins. Check in at that time was smooth ( I did message them to let them know my arrival time) and I left my luggage there the following day while I did some sightseeing.

I think the place needs a new coat of paint there were some mold in the walls of the shower.

The place needs to be renovated and the general appearance of the property should be consistent. I liked the staff conduct however the the reception was not well organized I had to clarify a couple of issues about my booking which they had over looked.
