How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bathroom tap is not working properly and the electric board is also not working properly. Bad one side charging point only. Badsheet not clean.

The room was not as per the standard of Fab hotel.. in the bathroom, there was leakage around the shower, WC and sink area. Had some bad small all around the room. Towels and floor mats were placed dirty on arrival. After requesting one of the staff, just folded on the clean side and offered us the same towel. When I showed him he said sorry he mistakenly bought another dirty one.
The location was good, the staff were nice and helpful

Cleanliness for sure. Transparency about the rooms. Rooms were not as per the standard and different from photos on website.

The cleanliness was very poor. Cockroach/pest was noticed in the room.

Condition of kitchen and restaurant hygiene is very bad. I have got food poisoning by eating Egg biriani and still suffering.

Service was not satisfactory. Everyday at the breakfast table we used to wait for the breakfast as they make very limited breakfast.Anything we order in the room was delivered at their own convience. At times was not even delivered. One of my friends room was having a rat issue which was not attended on time. After having lot of argument they finally changed the room. Most important is that they collect all the money at the time of check. If we tell them that we will pay later with all room service bills, they don't agree and to the extent they tell us that we can cancel ur rooms if u don't pay the amount. I hv been visiting many hotels and no one have this attitude.
Rooms were spacious, pool was maintained well, location is good for those who wish to visit Calangute & Baga beach

not very clean. towels were dirty. there was a rat in the room that ate some snacks in my parents room. there was food and some clothes in the wardrobe that belonged to a previous guest. photos of the property are not representative of the actual property

Wifi was not working all days till the time we are there in hotel room. And room phone was also not working. And only free channel of tv were working. No channels were subscribed in Tv. No stand for wet clothes.
Breakfast was average good and room was clean everyday, Hotel cooking staff provide egg everyday and repetitive nashta i.e. Aloo paratha, Chhole Bhature, Puri Bhaji and Poha also to put everyday.

Service was worst. They can't afford drinking water, tea coffe, sachets, towel, Only 500ml water would be complementary. Staff support was Zero.
The room size was Ok, Breakfast was compromised, can be improved. The property location was good. Swimming pool was ok for 6 feet people only, kids can't enjoy.

Hot water needs to be better maintained. Linen and towels need to be properly checked for stains. Pool timings can be extended.
The breakfast options, however limited, were good. It was a buffet and you had both south and north options, coffee, tea, milk, juice. All the usual buffet breakfast stuff. The pool was well maintained, clean. It wasn't temperature controlled so it might become a problem in the winter but otherwise, enjoyed. However it had limited timings of 7am-7pm. would be better it they were extended. Rooms were mostly spotless with linen and towers having minor spots, so not the best in this. Bathroom was very clean and modern however hot water might sometimes become a problem. At the least, there will be lukewarm water.

service of the property is very poor, the intercoms were not working, if you ask for something it will take at least 40 min for the staf to get that thing.

There was a rat in our room on third day. We had to pack and shift to a smaller less clean room at night due to that. Cable was not working. Balcony door has no lock. Bathroom has dripping. No hot water.
It's not worth for the amount. Staff's are really kind , that's the only positive side. Rooms are clean only in visible area. If you lay your hands on table or drawer you will see a bunch of dirt.

They didn't have the proper staff. Service was very very slow. Most of the things from kitchen were not available. We had to order food from outside. We got very late checkin around 2 PM instead of 12 PM. Passable breakfast.
The rooms were really good as well as the location. The property is clean and very comfortable.
