How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The rooms feature air conditioning, comfortable beds with clean linens, and basic furnishings. All this made my stay comfortable. The accommodations and services are excellent. If they forget to give you the complementary gift, you might need to request it. Also, be wary of the other guests, since we had a terrible encounter with a foreigner who was staying right next to our room

The location is excellent and close to the main road, near a mall and nice restaurants. Good amenities and for a long term stay. Very accommodative owner. Provided early check-in and late check-out on short notice. Very neat and spacious rooms.

D location of the hotel was great, right in the middle of Bangalore. The hotel was clean , staff courteous. Brkfast buffet was good with decent amount of choices. Would definitely recommend this hotel .

This place was safe and secure with all the required amenities . The place is well connected and there were a lot of restaurants close-by making this my go-to place for a vacation stay in Bangalore. Great stay @ Hotel Phoenix. The room was spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast spread. Good food . The staff were very courteous. Convenient location. Close by ITPL and ECO WORLD Tech Park and shopping malls. I would recommend this hotel to my colleagues for their stay. On my next visit to Bangalore, I would definitely stay at this HOTEL PHOENIX BROOKFEILD.

The staff are exceptional, better than any other 5-star resort I have been to. They go out of their way to help you and are very accommodating, and they make things very easy and smooth for you. They take the hassle out of everything, and are very friendly. The rooms are amazing, there are great views from the rooms and they are spacious and the bathrooms are gorgeous. The facilities and restaurants are great. The property is very clean.

I could write a book about the staff in this hotel. Everyone from security to reception staff,room,breakfast and pretty much everyone I met even in the elevator was very polite ,ready to help and do it with genuine smile. Thank you guys for making me feel welcome 🙏🏻. Food was exceptional as well. Room was clean and everything worked. Great place with wonderful people.

The view over the course is mesmerizing both at night and at sunrise. The room was big, warm and cozy. Staff was very polite and extremly helpful. The breakfast was a mix of Indian delicious and overall a great experience overall.

· We spent a night here for our Anniversary. The staff were extremely courteous and gave us a free upgrade to the room with race course view, lounge access and special cakes (yes, we got 2 cakes!!) for our Anniversary.
